As Head of Bioinformatics with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science I coordinate an heterogeneous team of bioinformaticians to build innovative pipelines for Next Generation Sequencing data and supervise the HPC data center collaborating with the IT department both administering the systems and taking technological strategic decisions. The development of bioinformatics pipelinesa is an opportunity to handle heterogeneous and complex data, to integrate them in many different ways using different technologies, and to contribute and develop Open Source software.
