Al-Shamshoon is an Arabic language and censored dub of the Simpsons. The show released September 2005 in Ramadan and October 2005 aired on Saudi television network company: MBC (Middle Broadcoaster Center) was produced not 20th Century Fox Televisiona and Gracie Films. All chracaters changed: Omar is Homer, Badr is Bart, Beesa is Lisa, Mona is Marge and Matta is Maggie with other characters are Mahoreey Bey, Salmawi, Maarmish etc. Only season 3 and 29 episodes mixed (52 episodes and 18 episodes are lost and unaired) And have censorship to references Moe's Tavern, bacon, Duff beer, pork, dounts and sexual scenes were cut and were removed. They were replaced by soda, kahk, Egyptian beef and sexual references for statue of David was also cut. This is trivia when Omar doesn't saying "D'oh!" only he is saying "Oh!" and Badr always he is saying "Rewesh" cool means Arabic word. This is series was sets in the United States with Arab majority and sets fictional town of Rabeea was changed town named Springfield just 2 episodes mentioned original name. Rabeea word meaning "spring" in Arabic. Al-Shamshoon theme song was always appear episode from "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish" chalkboard gag "I will not Xerox my butt"" and couch gag "Folding Bed couch gag". 2. What is Al-Shamshoon?
- Arabic language and censored dub of The Simpsons that aired on MBC 1.
- Al-Shamshoon was produced by the Saudi owned media company Middle East Broadcasting Center
(MBC) not 20th Century Fox Television and Gracie Films produced.
- 52 episodes of Al-Shamshoon were made, only 34 aired leaving 18 unaired episodes currently lost.
(Only 29 episodes found at Arteenz, an Arabic-language animated and anime series for kids).
- This is series not for adults, but aimed an young adults and childrens under 20 and 15 years old
between.
- All characters changed named (Omar, Mona, Badr, Beesa, Batta etc.).
- Changed to an fictional town named Rabeea (“spring” for meaning an Arabic)
- Any reference to pork, alcohol and Moe's Tavern were removed!.
- The show also removed any scene that took place in Moe's Tavern.
- The censorships were carried out in different ways: substitution of texts (for example: 'soda' instead
of 'beer'); massive cutting of scenes; completely rewritten dialogues; etc.

- Any reference to pork (bacon and hot dogs) was censored: When sausages,
or any piece of meat or sausage, appears on the screen, it is indicated that it
is beef.
- All references to Moe's Tavern were cut.

- On the Middle East Broadcasting Center on the Arab version of the show,
where The Simpsons is known as Al-Shamshoon, the characters drink soda
at Moe's Tavern because alcoholic beer is forbidden in Islam.
- Hot dogs will become Egyptian beef sausages because pork is forbidden
Muslim food.
- Donuts will become popular Arab cookies called "kahk.".
- Omar never doesn't saying “D’oh!” only he said “Oh!”.
- Badr saying “Rewesh” and “Dadiliomu!” meaning “Cool” and “Ay no”.
- The series ending, English credits were removed.
