standing their ground when the world is against them. This movie was written to represent the Red
Scare, when Hollywood members were falsely accused of being communist. These actors were forced

Strategies For Preventing Guns From The Streets Of New Haven
For years, people in New Haven have been brainstorming strategies to help prevent gun violence in
the communities. With the identifying the factors contributing to gun violence, community organizers
have come up with strategies that are specifically related to them. The main priority is to completely
remove guns from the streets of New Haven. Right now, there are two gun buy back programs in New
Haven that are lead by Yale New haven Hospital and the New Haven Police Department (City Wide).
The purpose of this program is for people to turn in un registered guns and receive money in return.
Some argue that the gun buy back program does not prevent gun violence because they are taking
guns from law abiding citizens who would never use them in a crime and do not reach those who are
likely to use them in a crime (Cameron). In New Haven, guns in the streets travel from people to
people and at some point, it can fall into the hands of a person who is anticipating on shooting
someone. That is all that it takes. One of the most successful gun buy back programs held in new
Haven was August 6, 2016. That day, The New Haven Police Department was able to retrieve one
hundred and twenty seven operable firearms. They took in eighty five handguns, thirty eight rifles and
shotguns and four assault weapons (Wilkins). In the past five years, the New Haven Police
Department has collected over five hundred guns from the gun buy back programs. Going along with

Recently, the spread of urban America and governmental control has led to difficulties in finding the
once plentiful wild. People often venture out past city limits into what they perceive as wilderness to
leave society behind in hopes of coming to some major life changing self realization. They believe

Approximately 6 to 8 million animals are handled by animal shelters in the U.S. each year. Even
though some are reclaimed or adopted, nearly 4 million unwanted dogs and cats are left with nowhere

In Angel Levine , Manischevitz struggles with his surroundings. He lost everything, including his
children and his establishment because it catches fire and then burn[s] to the ground (Malamud). He
now must support the family financially and take care of his ill wife, Fanny. Another large external
issue that Manischevitz faces is the ability to trust the black angel. He thinks [he] is a faker because
God would not send a black angel. However, God sent him this black angel as a test of his faith and
after he wavers, he returns to God. Throughout these tests of faith, he experiences an epiphany,
understanding that there are Jews everywhere (Malamud). Similarly, the native also has an external
conflict; he cannot get home after he realizes that he does not want to acculturate into the white
society. He tries to return home by dangerously hitchhiking onto the Santa Fe train. When he finally

Any figures beyond the set up of these dissections are just to help illustrate what the Rosette glands
actually looked like, or a better understanding of the anatomy behind a cross sectioned nephropore (fig
2a b). The results from these cross section figures showed that rosette glands could be identified in the
nephropre areas of every examined lobster. Subtle differences were found within these rosettes, one
example being the cells within the rosettes either being rounded with many secretory granules, or
thinner cells with smaller granules with spaces between the cells. Other rosettes were more organized
into clusters of different sizes, and found within the connective tissue. These clusters were categorized
into two separate gland complexes, on medial to the ureter and the other later (fig 3a b). Other
experiments focused on within this article looked at the size and orientation of these gland complexes
in an effort to better understand subtle differences from the normal nephropores, one example being
some lobsters having anterior clusters which release the product a different way. Although this was far
from the norm of the lobsters studied, they found that the glands appeared to be released through the

EVM had become such a requirement that any project over $20 million must employ the EVM
standard. In a survey conducted in December 2005, only 33% of the federal department hired
personnel skilled in EVM. I was involved in a project that exposed the myths of EVM. The project
manager failed to understand the importance of EVM. The organization had contracted to have six
storage containers erected in the back of the company. The initial budget was $50, 000 dollars with a
completion date of 30 days within contract agreement. The WBS provided a breakdown at each level,
the amount of work to be performed, and the cost at each level. It is known that many projects require
a more in depth research of what is required for project success.
Even with prior planning uncertainties will happen. In this case, the contractor decided to outsource
the concreted for the paid. The problem is that the concrete was not with codes and had to be removed
and repoured. This delay caused budget overruns. This goes back to the quality not being measured in
the earned value management (EVM) system. The 30 day project turned into 60 days and was
