How are the ideas about human communication related to the definition of
persuasion? Persuasion can be very complex to define and/or understand. Essentially
by writing this paper, I am attempting to persuade my professor that I understand
persuasion and how it relates to human communication. People use persuasion every
day whether they realize it or not. It can be negative and attempt to manipulate or
deceive. It can also be positive and come in the form of professional persuaders like
clergy or motivational speakers. In this essay, I will attempt to persuade my readers of

Let s first explore the topic of human communication. There are three essential parts
that make up the human communication model, the sender, the message and the
receiver. All three elements are affected by the surroundings where the
communication is taking place. Outside elements or noise can affect the way the
sender communicates and how the receiver interprets the message. To understand this
process let s explore the ecological model of communication. It asserts that
communication occurs in the intersection of four fundamental constructs:
communication between people (creators and consumers) is mediated by messages

After collaborating with my mentor teacher about the curriculum, she asked me to
look over the 1st grade and 2nd grade curriculum and pick standards that I would
want to teach, and modify the standard to fit the education levels of our students.

football coach had on his community, before and after death in the article A Good
Man Down. The author explains the life of Ed Thomas, the head coach for the
Apilington Parkersburg football team in Iowa. Ed Thomas was shot and killed while
training his athletes by Mark Becker. Lee Jenkins begins by using very detail

Citizens believed that private utility companies charged too much for electricity

This can sometimes take a toll on one s personality. Anne Frank s book titled The
Diary of Anne Frank takes people through what it was like to be a Jewish teenager
during World War II. Anne and her family was forced to move into hiding, because
of the harsh measures being taken by Nazis to rid Europe of Jews. During Anne s
time in the annex, readers get to know her well, as she changes from the beginning, to

much. (Frank 165). Anne thought of Peter as a let down. Because of his lone wolf

state, Kitty, I sound like someone who s in love and can talk about nothing but her
dearest darling. And Peter is a darling. (Frank 165). Anne s use of the word darling
