In outlining a budget there are two phases that must be determined to create a budget, an operating
phase and a financial phase. Developing a new operating budget starts with examining budgets from

starts and ends is often times hard to determine. The first films were shown to public audiences in the
late 1890 s by the French Lumière brothers. Yet the idea of a cinema as we now know it was only just
beginning to take shape during the first quarter of the 20th century. It is in this context that we are to
view Evgeny Bauer s The Revolutionary (1917) and Sergei Eisenstein s Strike (1925). Both of these
films utilize several interesting artistic choices and convey their stories well to the audience yet for in
order for a film to be truly revolutionary, it has to convey a bold message along with a unique
performance. While Bauer s film left me with a greater appreciation of early cinema as an art form I
think that Sergei Eisenstein s Strike is the truly revolutionary film.
While Bauer s The Revolutionary is a story about a revolutionary who after returning back from
Siberia to a democratic Russia is determined to fight FOR the new government, we see that Strike is
the riveting tale of how the death of a factory worker serves as the rallying call for the workers to

The BP Oil spill pumped almost 200 million gallons of crude oil into the gulf of mexico, for
approximately 87 days. This became the largest and most devastating oil spill in the United States.
The coastlines of Texas, Alabama, Florida, MIssissippi and Louisiana were drastically effected by this
horrible oil spill. In the end the BP oil spill negativity impacted more than 16,000 miles of coastline.
Even today, oil is appearing on shores, and created horrible damage to living organisms in the area and

Anderson movies, The Grand Budapest Hotel is filled with gorgeous color schemes, witty lines,
impeccable scoring, and perfectly symmetrical frames. We even get glimpses of the usual crew that act
in the Anderson franchise, including Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson, and Bill Murray. Shot in a 1930 s
style movie frame, the story starts out on a snowy white scene in a small European town. A girl walks
to a memorial of a man, sits down by his statue and opens up a book. A voice over then begins, as well

Robinson the number of African American in professional baseball stayed on a rise, unfortunately the
numbers over the most recent decades have been going the opposite direction. The color barrier was

for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Robinson broke way for African Americans in baseball and they took

the percentage of African Americans playing in the MLB has been on a steady decline the past few
decades. This percentage is dropping every year and there does not seem to be much of a change in the
future. While the numbers of African American professionals are much higher in football and
