Donald Trump Executive Order
After the first week of Donald Trump s presidency many changes have been occurring in the country.
A continuous stream of executive orders signed by the President are causing extreme controversy.
Executive Order: Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into The United States, the more
moderate version of the Muslim ban that President Trump called for during his campaign was signed
on Friday. Some people who were still in the air when Trump signed the order were detained or sent
back to where they flew in from when they landed. This led to people being detained in airports
sparking numerous protests at airports across the country, calling the order unconstitutional. On
Saturday, a federal judge temporarily stayed the order, stopping people from being detained and
deported from the country.
The President has also signed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Students, for example, are worried about their future under Trump. It is likely that he will decide to
end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) that allows undocumented immigrants who
arrived in the country as minors a renewable two year period of deferred action from deportation and
eligibility for a work permit. Judging by Trump s extreme views on immigration and little interest in
the protection of law abiding undocumented immigrants, these individuals they have a legitimate
cause for concern.
Another group fearing the Trump policies are women. A recent memorandum reinstated the Mexico
City policy, confirming Trump s anti abortion stance. As can be seen even before the reinstatement of
this policy, during the Women s March, many women were concerned about their right to choose and
control over their bodies under this Presidency. With the impending appointment of a new justice on
the Supreme Court, this issue is causing great anxiety among women all around the

Odysseus Epic Hero
A hero is a person that is admired for his courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Such
noble qualities include virtue, respect, and beneficial. An epic hero is a supernatural character who
partakes the principles of a race. He (or she) completes long, dangerous journeys and accomplish
extreme goals in a form of a quest. Similar to a hero, they must be courageous and robust. In the epic
The Odyssey, by Homer, Odysseus is an epic hero. Odysseus proves to be worth in his quest to return
to Ithaca and his family from the Trojan War. An epic hero is tested to prove the worthiness of himself
and his quest. In Book 9 lines 433 to 441, Odysseus gathers his courage and blinds the Cyclops,

Restitution in an epic hero cycle often takes the form of the hero regaining his rightful position in the
social hierarchy, such as the king. He does this by killing the main antagonistic suitor, Antinous, for
courting Penelope, Odysseus wife. Odysseus aimed and shot Antinous square in the throat/ and the
point went stabbing clean through the soft neck and out / and off to the side he pitched, the cup
dropped from his grasp/ as the shaft sank home, and the man s life blood came spurting/ from his
nostrils / thick red jets / a sudden thrust of his foot / he kicked away the table / food showered across
the floor,/ the bread and meats soaked in a swirl of bloody filth (22.15 21). Odysseus slays the first
victim for the crime he has commit. Odysseus continues to avenge the suitors and kills them with an
arrow or a spear, until he got his rightful throne back. Then back through the royal house the old nurse
went/ to tell the women the news and bring them in at once. / They came crowding out of the quarters,
torch in hand, / flung their arms around Odysseus, hugged him, home at last, / and kissed his head and
shoulders, seized his hands, and he, / overcome by a lovely longing, broke down and wept.../ deep in
his hear he knew them one and all (22. 523 529). The epic hero restores order in his kingdom and

Cabela s Case Summary
After reviewing a financial report for Cabela s World s Foremost Outfitters, it is in my opinion that no
person should invest in the stocks of the company. This is based on three details of the report: the
current stock value, the finance, and the current situation with the company and its shareholders. Even
if this company has a well known brand and business the inside working of the company shows a
different picture. As of February 17, 2017 at 4:29 PM EST the price of a stock was 45.12 US Dollars
with a 2.28% drop of price. Then P/E Ratio is currently at 18.54 and with current Earnings per Share
value of .411. The first issue is that the stock price has been dropping since 2014 and kept falling. In
2014, the price of stock was at 72.53 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 2016, the company has 8,970,824 US Dollars in Long Term Assets (Current Assets: 7,036,578),
146,947,000 US Dollars in profits, and 6,959,225 US Dollars in Total Liabilities (Current Liabilities:
2,689,770). The problem with Labilities is that it is debt that has to be paid off over a certain period of
time and in this case for current liabilities, it is a year. Labilities are expected to be paid off with cash
but that s a problem for Cabela s. Cabela s has a cash flow of 51,241,000 US Dollars and a long term
debt value of 3,158,085 US Dollars which means cash is limited for Cabela s. The current Ratio is at
2.616 which means the company is not managing its assets a properly and in turn could be having
financial issues. [2] What is also not a good sign is the debt to equity ratio is 3.460 and this value is a
sign that the Cabela s has a high debt level and is having financial troubles. [3] Then the Return on
Sales Ratio is .04 or 4% which terrible because this percent should be over 10%. Another sign that a
company is having trouble is that the Acid Test Ratio is 2.30 because the ratio value should never be
over 1. These troubling financial records shows that Cabela s is having troubles but the real certain are

Consequences Of The Blue Hotel And Tennessee s Partner
All Actions Have Consequences, Sometimes
In Stephen Crane s The Blue Hotel and Bret Harte s Tennessee s Partner, many themes are evident;
some of these themes are easily recognizable while others depend on the perception of the reader. The
stories share the themes of personal integrity and that all actions have consequences. However, there
are several themes that are unique to each story that can have a diverse effect on the reader, such as the
rules of society to fear of the unknown. The plot and storyline of Tennessee s Partner is
straightforward, but after reading the complex, diverse plot and storyline of Crane s The Blue Hotel,
one can imagine many different plots that could have taken place throughout the story. Through
illusions, the reader can take what each author presents and let his or her imagination do the rest; there
is not a set feeling or reaction that the every reader will obtain. In both stories, distinct and diverse
motifs are present ranging from personal integrity and all actions have consequences, which are found
throughout both stories.
The characters Tennessee partner in the story, Tennessee s Partner, have a complicated but strong
relationship. At first, we see them as good friends to one another, but later on Tennessee does some
unkind things to his partner. However, Tennessee s partner is not upset about this, and upon Tennessee
s return, he is the first to greet him and shake his hand. Showing his true integrity Tennessee s partner
never holds a grudge on Tennessee. Throughout the rest of the story, Tennessee s partner never
downgrades Tennessee for the things he did and stood by his side to the end. Nevertheless, all of the
bad choices Tennessee made caught up with him. No matter what Tennessee s partner did, he could
not fix the amount of damage Tennessee caused himself. Therefore, all of his bad actions had
consequences were well overdue. Comparing, The Blue Hotel, there are similarities, including
integrity and all actions have consequences. The Swede drives himself insane, trapped by his fixed
idea about the unknown environment of the west. Causing the people around him to feel uncertain and
standoffish. Consequently, his attitude toward other characters throughout the

Fears: If an individual receiving care has a prior worry of the treatment they might receive when care

Lauren Smith Case
Ethics should form an integral part of every organization. Most companies have a manual that lays
down guidelines regarding ethical practices in their organization. People associated with the company
should abide by these guidelines.
In the given case, Lauren Smith was appointed as assistant account manager in the government
contracts division of a large architecture and engineering firm. The clients of the firm were primarily
federal and state governmental agencies. The firm had applied for an enormous project to design a
new military hospital complex. Furthermore, if the contract was awarded to the firm, each member of
the project would be suitably compensated.
The leader of the project, Brian Jenkins is in constant touch with George Miller, who the former head
of the division awarding the Hospital contract. Miller usually passes on confidential inside
information to Brian in exchange for a bonus. Lauren Smith became aware of this practice when Brian
took her to lunch with him. The manual of the company clearly states that this practice was unethical
as it would constitute insider trading.
After going through the manual, Lauren discussed the matter with fellow team members. One of them,
Sue Garcia suggested that it was a normal practice to share inside information. She further suggested
that this practice is not unethical. This was because in her opinion, it was not ... Show more content on

unethical practices. This indeed warrants for the firm to take decisions accordingly to restructure its

Old Spice
When facing the question whether international expansion is a good idea, several considerations
should be taken into account. The assumption is that the firm main goal is to maximize the profit from
international expansion. I would recommend, as the team leader, that Old Spice will measure its target
market by the following characteristics to determine if globalization is a good idea for the firm:
1. Market size
2. Price
3. Domestic competitors and market share
4. Product demand
5. Distribution channels methods
6. Local market regulations and restrictions
In order to determine if global expansion is a good idea, we need to verify with the firm management
if there is a goal profit, which is calculated by revenues minus cost of going global. The revenue and
expenses influenced by target market main characteristics:
Relatively large market size would assist to increase revenue since the initial number of deodorant
users (potential customers) in the target market country is higher.
Before expanding we need to check the average product price for deodorants, based on local pricing in
our target markets and verify it is at least equal to the firm s home market (i.e. American winery will
not expand its sales to Italy, where the wine arise as cheap as water). ... Show more content on

market, since there is distaste from foreign products (especially Americans) and many domestic

Homosexuals Right to Marriage Essay
Since the beginning of time, our country has struggled with equal rights issues in one way or another.
Whether those issues were women s rights, segregation of races, or more currently the equal rights of
those whose sexual orientation is different from what is considered to be normal by the vast majority
of the population. However, the reality is that all people deserve to be treated equally. This country
was founded on the idea of individuals being equal and because of this we should all, who call this
great nation home have the same rights. I believe it is our job as a growing nation to provide security
and acceptance for all, and in doing so giving the same rights, to all individuals of this country

Due to this, federal benefits such as social security retirement and survivors benefits, along with
federal tax breaks for married couples do not apply to the homosexual community. They may be
refused health insurance under their partners insurance solely, based on the fact that they are not
legally married. However, this country is constantly consumed with healthcare related issues and
people not being covered by health insurance, though it would seem in some cases the federal
government is to blame for that. Geoffrey R. Stone states the Supreme Court has long recognized that
the government can never lawfully treat one group of people worse than others because the majority
deems that group immoral, depraved, unworthy or sinful according to God s principles. If this were so
then marriage would have to re defined to exclude other immoral unions, such as, convicted murders,
child molesters, rapist, and adulterers. These people shouldn t be able to marry either or receive
benefits under federal law. Other issues that plague the homosexual community are questions on the
validity of their relationships. Research shows that many gay men and lesbian women want or have a
committed relationship. According to the American Psychological Association; 40% to 60% of gay
men and between 45% and 80% of lesbians are currently involved in a same sex romantic relationship,
and that out of the 5.5 million couples in 2003, that were

How Did Lester B Pearson Change Canada
Lester B Pearson was a very influential Canadian who made a difference to every Canadian. He was
responsible for implementing universal healthcare for all Canadians nation wide, Canadian pension
plan and the modern idea of peacekeeping.
He was in charge for putting into action a universal healthcare system for all of Canada. Canadians
must have equal access to state provided medical services. Parliament passed the Medical Care Act in
1966 but financial exigencies postponed its operation for a year (English, 2005). This form of social
welfare was different for the time compared to other countries. With the system that he implemented
this has given Canadians a lot of freedom financially. This has changed Canadian citizens in a way

In the department of Health and Welfare, the new government had developed a national contributory
pension plan that was based on the Liberal campaign promises. (English, 284 285)
This gave Canadians a monthly income that they would pay into during their working career and
receive it when they become 65 years old. This also put Canada a step forward in defining itself as the
great nation that it is today. The Canada Pension Plan is another example of Lester B. Pearson s edicts
that helped improve the social security programs for all in Canada.
Lastly he helped solve global conflicts between nations by putting together the United Nations
Emergency Force to help stop the Suez Canal crisis in 1957. We support the effort that is being done
and come together and mutually agree with one another that a peace treaty must be agreed upon
(Lester B. Pearson, 148 150). The Newspaper stated that an immediate cease fire was in effect for both

Analysis Of The Movie Famous
The image I ve chosen is a still from one of Kanye West s recent music videos titled Famous. I found
this video on YouTube a couple months back when it was released in July and found it quite
interesting. The specific still I m using from the video is shown towards the end of the video when the
camera completely zooms out revealing all the sleeping bodies. One of the main reasons this image
captured my attention and caught me off guard was because of the people featured in the video and the
fact that they were all completely naked. Here is a little bit of background on the song itself. During
the 2009 VMAs Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video over Beyonce who was also
nominated for the same category. As Taylor was giving her acceptance speech, Kanye came onto the
stage and interrupted her by saying that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Because of
this historical moment (if you will) Kanye claims that Taylor Swift is only famous because of him. A
popular line from the song Famous is I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex why?/ I made that
b**ch famous. Taylor of course did not like this and even talked about this in her Grammy acceptance
speech basically saying that she worked hard to get to where she is. Since then there s been drama
between Taylor and The Wests (Kim and Kanye). So when I saw Taylor in Kanye s video I was very
shocked because I knew she wasn t okay with the song so she definitely wouldn t participate in such a

Grease Movie Analysis
I watched the film Grease which was directed by Randal Kleiser. This film took place at Rydell High
which was full of fun, crazy students. In the beginning, Sandy Dumbrowski who was the new girl in
school arrives at school. She explains how over the summer she and a boy named Danny Zuko had a
brief love affair. However, it turns out he is a leader of a greaser gang, the T Birds. Sandy tells her new
classmates about how sweet Danny was and how he was different from other boys, but she doesn t
know that he lies and make stories up about their relationship to his friends. From watching the film,
you can easily tell that the kids at Rydell High have to deal with many issues. Some of the issues
would be having relationship issues, teen pregnancy, dropping out of school, and friendship problems.
In the end, Sandy and Danny compromise their differences with each other and their friends and end
up being together and being happy. The medium of performance is film and the production company
of this film was RSO Records. In the film, there were many restored behaviors. Some of the restored
behaviors that I could identify were the characters going to school, gossiping, and having sex. Every
action that the characters did was a restored behavior because their actions were things that many high
school students do everyday. Another example of a restored behavior in the film could be when Danny
and Sandy went on a date and they ate at the diner. Eating is an action that is done by

Analysis Of Thomas Hardy s Of The D
Author Thomas Hardy is typically distinguished for following a trend in which all his fiction is
characterized by chance being the incarnation of the blind forces controlling human destiny. As J
Clipper once said, Hardy reflected Nietzsche s agonized cry that God is dead , in his novels. His view
of life was that since there is no God to give meaning to life, Man is alone in the Universe, no better
and no worse than other creatures who live or have lived for a brief moment on this speck called
Earth. The Universe and fate is essentially malevolent and benevolent. Hardy believes that God,
whether he once was once a presence or not, has disappeared entirely from the world. People are left
to defend themselves and cope in a society ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Tess is exposed to the cruelty of fate from the moment that God places her into the Durbyfield family.
Born into a poverty stricken and uneducated family, she is subject to the hardships that that entails.
Her Father an alcoholic and her Mother less of a woman than she is herself, her upbringing already
sets her apart from the rest of the world, and she recognizes her underprivileged condition. Did you
say the stars were worlds, Tess? Yes. All like ours? I don t know, but I think so. They sometimes seem
to be like the apples on our stubbard tree. Most of them splendid and sound a few blighted. Which do
we live on a Splendid one or a blighted one? A blighted one. (Hardy 54) Tess is raised in an
environment that encourages a belief in a kind of predetermination and fatality, demonstrated by the
fact that her mother often consults the complete fortune teller, an old book of astrological guidance.
Tess however has been educated, and thus does not subscribe to the same beliefs that her mother does.
In a similar way, Hardy uses Tess s father John Durbyfield to illustrate the power of fate to change one
s life. In chapter one, when John is told of the nobility that exists in their bloodline, he believes that
their life will soon be catastrophically changed. Don t you really know, Durbyfield, that you are the

Meaning of Everlast s Song What It s Like

1 February 2011
Song Argument Essay What it s Like by Everlast is a song that tells not one but three different stories.
It touches on homelessness, abortion and drug violence. Three very relevant topics, despite its 1998
release date. The song cautions those who are quick to judge and reminds us all, to take second look.
The song also argues that the listener may one day find themselves in a similar situation and they may
one day be the homeless person, the girl walking into the clinic or the family member of a drug dealer.
Everlast does something very effective when making any argument; he puts a face to the issue he is
discussing.
The argument in this song is maybe not as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I believe this makes the songs argument much stronger, and much more human which is
extraordinarily important when one is arguing about human issues. Everlast is not a band with several
members; it s actually the solo project of Erik Schrody who was a former member of an Irish Hip Hop
group called House of Pain. The group ended in 1996. What It s Like was Schrody s first single after
his exit from the group and became his most well known. The song was released as a single first and
then later on an album titled Whitey Ford Sings the Blues . The song was released after Schrody quit
drinking and found religion. A listener knowing this might realize why he was so reflective and
cautioning those who felt they could never be one of those people . He knew exactly how the
characters he created felt.
The style of the song is very crucial in how it comes across to the listener. It is a simple song with a
mellow sound and a focus on the lyrics. The song consists of Everlast s deep, dark voice and use of

Investigating The Distillation Apparatus For Operation At...
1.1 PROBLEM SUMMARY:
Solar still (distillation) is the process used to distil impure water using solar energy. The input is
muddy/brackish/saline water and we get pure water as output.
This project revolves around design and fabrication of a solar distillation apparatus, which will give
efficient distillation on a round the clock basis, and is capable of providing rural areas with pure and
healthy drinking water supply.
We will be concentrating our efforts on re designing the distillation apparatus for operation at
maximum efficiency. The distillation tank will rest on a platform made of cast iron. A commercially
available storage tank will be used for storing the saline water. This tank will then be covered by a
glass cover, on top and other suitable materials will be used as thermal shield on the sides, to retain the
heat. Reflectors will be added to supplement the incoming solar radiation. To make this apparatus
function continuously, we plan to attach a solar panel powered rechargeable battery to an auxiliary
heater which would help distil the water during night time. The sediment accumulated as impurity can
be removed by manual cleaning of the internal tank once a week /fortnight.
This entire process of designing and fabrication of this apparatus will take about 7 8 months after
which it will be put to rigorous testing for about 2 months, to validate our claims.
Due to rising sea water levels, increased use of chemical fertilizers and lack water distribution

In the paper Steganographic Schemes for File System and B Tree [3], they have introduced StegFD, a

of protected files is offered. StegFD hides the selected files in a file system securely in such a way
that, an attacker will not be able to trace their existence, even if the attacker has full knowledge of the

described which arises when the storage system is untrusted and is shared by multiple users. In such
cases, the attacker could obtain multiple snapshots of the storage content and analyze them to deduce
the existence of secret user data. To solve this problem, they have introduced a Dummy Relocatable

Forbidden City Essay
Everyone has thought of rebellion at some point. Whether it s for something like not wanting to clean
their room, wanting to drive, wanting to vote, it is still standing up for something they believe in. With
some people, it may be a minor thing, but for some other people, they are rebelling for their life. In the
book Forbidden City by William Bell, the main character Alex moves from Canada to China for his
father s job. While he is there, he sees the university students in China stand up for their rights
publicly and pay for it with their life. What conditions justify a citizen s right to rebel? Unjust laws,
oppression, violence against citizens are fine examples of these. One condition that gives citizens the
desire and right to rebel is oppression. Ruling your citizens in a cruel way that bothers everyday life is
not something a government should do. Eddie, while saying to Alex in the hotel room says, [P]olitical

Ebenezer Scrooge s Visit by the Three Spirits in Dickens ...
Novels that are phenomenal makes the reader travel into a world where anything can happen.
However, many authors made the readers travel into the main characters mind or point of view. In

Ebenezer Scrooge has been reminded in the beginning of the story about his old friend, family, his

Surprise is key in sports because teams need deception to trick the other team. If sports teams apply
deception as well as other doctrines of war they will most likely win. Furthermore, security is
important in obtaining surprise. Operation Mincemeat was successful in getting Hitler to split his
forces. To set up the deception, the British needed the body of a man who appeared to have died by
drowning. They found a man who had died of pneumonia in London. The British created a false
identity for the body as a major in the army. The dead man s wrist was handcuffed to a briefcase
containing British coded documents pertaining to the upcoming invasion of Sardinia and Crete. The
body was dumped overboard near the coast of Spain and Portugal and was washed up on shore.
Churchill knew the Germans had the British code, and messages were sent to indicate the Allies plan

The World Intellectual Property Organization
Ages ago, people had minimal needs, food and a place to sleep. As generations passed on, humans
became intelligent and smart. Consequently gave a way to inventions, bringing happiness along with
comfort in our day to day activities. However, along with the inventions, came along, those
individuals who want to plagiarize, steal or imitate one s work. Piracy and counterfeiting terms refer
to the goods that come into the market with no permission from the owner. Therefore, to protect the
individual comes in intellectual property which refers to the creations of the mind: inventions, literary

It is described as the direction, as well as the scope of a firm over the long term. It gives a firm
advantage through configuring resources in a challenging environment in a bid to meet market
demands and fulfill the expectations of the shareholders. A central description of strategy has been
accepted and given in five definitions. These include strategy as position, ploy, system, pattern, and
perspective. The bottom line of all these definitions is that they aim at attaining some future goals. The
goal of every organization is to survive competition and become successful in the market.
Consequently, firms have public relations departments to ensure their goals are realised. The public
relations is mostly concerned with improving interactions through improved communication. PR
achieves this by employing different perspectives such as rhetorical and system aspects. Rhetorical
theory concerns the use of human symbol, whereas the system perspective is concerned with the
relationship between the environment and organization wherein public relations helps in coordinating
the two to ensure survival. The application cannot be done without tactics to ensure efficiency. This is
where public relations and strategy come out clearly. In the case study, the rhetoric framing theory has

famed Renaissance thinkers, and riots/revolts from unhappy citizens of numerous classes. Some states
like France, Russia, and Prussia, resulted in all the power gathered under the monarch s personal

They all had similar tactics in taxation, but each had economic policies which resembled one another.
Colbert, Louis XIV s financial manager, promoted mercantilism, a policy of maintaining a favorable
balance of trade in order to accumulate wealth. These mercantilist policies massively boosted France s
economy. The French people were to produce everything they needed, exports were increased, and
immigration by talented peoples was encouraged. Positively, this approach allowed France to become
a competitor in trade. As a result, France surged in power and wealth, giving Louis XIV the ability and
money to reform other areas of the government. Likewise, Peter the Great was inspired by his travels
to use mercantilist ideas. More money meant more opportunity to better the country. Furthermore, he
boosted industry and production of raw materials. This whole economic sector was underneath the
monarchy s control, in order to promote the success Peter the Great saw necessary and fit.
Correspondingly, in Prussia, the next Hohenzollern was Frederick the Great, who applied enlightened
absolutist ideas to the economy. Frederick took a more humane approach to policy, which would

A social construction is an idea that is perpetuated and given meaning by the people who believe in

their creators and as such can change the meaning situationally. Over time the ideas can grow to

example of a social construction would be currency and race. Currency for example takes on different
forms in physical appearance, from gold to paper, and different names between different countries,
from the Japanese yen to the Mexican peso, yet each can be exchanged for one another in comparable

Effects Of Murder In Macbeth
Murder is a damaging act to one s mind. After committing/assisting in a murder, the mind is changed,
and changes the overall person as well. These changes are different in all situations. They depend on
the level of involvement, what the person is like before, and how violent the actual murder is. The
most impactful element, however, is the violence of the murder. For example, Macbeth and Lady
Macbeth were described by Shakespeare both before and after the murder. This helps readers to

murder s influence on the mind comes from Shakespeare s play Macbeth. Before committing any

The alternate hypothesis was: There is a significant relationship between individuals IQ score rank and
instructional media preference. In a correlational study, an alternate hypothesis claims that a
relationship exists between the variables (Gilbert, 2006). A relationship means that where learners
score on the Stanford Binet Intelligence Scale is related to which medium they choose to use for
instruction. Another way to write this is: Ha: ρXY ≠ 0, where Ha is the symbol for the alternative
hypothesis, ρ for the significance which will be ≤0.5, and XY which represents the predictor variable,
learner IQ, or X, paired with the criterion variable, or instructional media choice, or Y. For this study,
the predictor variable, learner IQ score, is interpreted as a rank, an ordinal level of measurement and
the criterion variable, instructional media preference, as a nominal level of measurement. According to
Black (1999), Cramer s C (also known as V) is an appropriate statistical measure when a single
sample examines ordinal and nominal levels of measurement. In fact, using Black s (1999) decision
table for selecting association or correlation coefficients, the ordinal level of measurement, in this case
learner IQ ranking, should be reduced to a nominal level (p.626). Descriptive statistics Univariate

contact, such as kissing, hugging, eating or drinking, as well as being within 3 feet of a person who
coughs or sneezes while infected and shedding the virus. These activities allow the respiratory
droplets shed during these activities to come in contact with mucous membranes found in the eyes,
nose and mouth (Kutsar, 2004). Other modes of transmission include aerosolizing procedures in
hospital settings and contamination of surfaces in healthcare facilities, households and other closed

This can lead to unfortunate mishaps, as children might reveal incriminating information. If your child
is arrested, make sure you explain their legal rights. They do not have to talk to the police if they do
not want to. Depending on the situation, it s often better if they don t speak to the police until they
have legal representation.
3. Get a Therapist
A therapist can be helpful in a variety of situations when it comes to children being arrested. The
therapist can speak to the child and determine whether they are fit for trial. They might also determine
underlying causes that made the child commit the crime. A therapist can also be helpful for parents,
especially if the child is arrested and convicted as feelings of grief and guilt are common.
4. Explore Sentencing Options
There are many different sentencing options for children when it comes to criminal cases. Depending
on the severity of the crime, a stern warning or community service might be just fine. If the situation is
more severe, your child might be better off living with another relative or committing to house arrest.
No matter the case, you should speak with a lawyer about what types of sentencing options are
available for your child. In the end, you want to strive for an outcome that doesn t affect your child for

Introduction
Global urbanization background
Urbanisation of the planet is the most concrete phenomenon of the changes in global human
settlements patterns. The increase of migration flows in the time of globalisation in the 20th and 21st
century helps us to understand the dynamics of urbanisation (Zhang, 2015). The movement of people
from rural areas to cities is so widespread and having tremendous impacts on the way we live and
work. From the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
China urbanization background
In the past decades, China has observed rapid urbanization, the nation s urban population reached 50%
in 2000, and is still in steady increase (Xu, 2015). Urbanization has an adverse impact on the urban
hydrological processes, such as accelerating runoff flow velocity and enlarging peak flow (Li and
Wang, 2009; Weng, 2001), thus increasing the urban flood risks. In the rapidly urbanized China cities,
the increase of urban flood risks is obvious, and caused serious urban flood losses. Beside, as urban
flooding causes sewer water over flow, flushes pollutant sand foul water to public area, it also causes
health risks for the people who live there, such as causing epidemic disease breakout, polluting
drinking water and damaging the living environment (Chen, 2014).
Urbanization Issues
Urbanisation has led to degradation of environmental quality especially the quality of water, air and
noise. The domestic waste, industrial effluents and other waste that were dumped directly to the river
have affected the water quality (Zhang, 2015). The environmental impacts of urban expansion reach
far beyond urban areas themselves. In rapidly urbanising areas, agriculture intensifies on remaining
undeveloped land and is likely to expand to new areas, putting pressure on land resources.
Furthermore, urban areas change precipitation patterns at scales of hundreds of square

Terrorism from Above vs.Terrorism from Below
Terrorism from above is known as state terrorism, state terrorism is not always a straightforward
process in fact it is usually a covert, secret policy that allows states to claim deniability when accused
of sponsoring terrorism. There are several ways to spot terrorism from above and can be included
many different aspects. Sponsors of terrorism in terrorism from above, this means the state actively
promotes terrorism and has been deemed what the U.S. call a rogue state. There are also enablers of
state terrorism, enablers are states that operate in a manner to which being part of the problem means
not just failing to cooperate fully in countering terrorism, but also doing some things that help enable
it to occur. Links between regims and terrorism can range from very clear lines of sponsorship to
indefinable associations. When a government is using terrorism as an instrument of statecraft they can
often control the degree of their involvement so that any incidents of terrorism cannot be traced back
to the government. We can then conclude that state sponsorship of terrorism is not as straightforward
as it seems. It is usually a covert policy that allows for the state to claim plausible deniability when
accused of sponsoring terrorism. Because of these parameters a distinction must be made between
state patronage and assistance. State patronage for terrorism refers to either participation and/or
encouragement of terrorism and terrorist behavior. It basically means

Why Students Should Start Later In School
There are multiple reasons why schools start way too early in the morning. Some reasons are
exhausted students, more time to get ready for teachers and students, etc. These reasons support what
y schools should start later in the day. Waking up early is a challenge for some students. This is mainly
because of huge workloads and getting ready for the school day ahead of them. Students need to rest
or they will not have any good grades in school. This is the same thing for teachers. They have to
grade hundreds of student s tests. That would take a lot of time and make them tired for the school day
ahead of them. If school started earlier than students and teachers would have time to rest more and be

They have to get up at ridiculous times to get to school and setup. The teachers would most likely be
exhausted and would not be efficient during the school day. This would lead to bad lessons and bad
grades. If the school day started later in the day then the teachers would have more time to set up and
come up with better lessons. This would lead to good attitude and be energized. Students usually never
have enough time to finish their daily routine. They have to get up early and go through their whole
routine. After they go through their routine they eat breakfast and they are ready to go. Unfortunately,
that is not how it happens usually happens. Students sometimes do not get to eat their breakfast. This
will result in drowsiness during class and inefficiency. If the school day started later in the day then
students would have more time to get their routine finished and eat breakfast. Also, they might have
enough time to finish assignments. Parents are also affected by this because they have to make lunches
and drive the kids to school. Parents need to wake up early and need to drop their kids off at school.
This can be a huge disadvantage if the parents if they need to wake up early and go to work in the
morning. If the school day was longer the parents would have more time to get their kids ready for
school. Also, they can be energized as well as the

Post-Apocalyptic Societies
Americans are often fascinated with the word apocalypse. When we hear the word apocalypse, we
tend to habitually think of the various media portrayals that we see on a daily basis. Whether it s on
your television, in a video game or in your own hands as you read a recommended book. The
individuals who are feeding us these falsehood portrayals of the coming apocalypse are just looking
for a quick profit. There can be various reasons why people are fascinated with these post apocalyptic
societies. People could have a sense of boredom of the life that they are living in currently, people
could be truly interested in these societies, or people could be preparing themselves if something like
this ever happened. The main problem with this form of

This is based on three details of the report: the current stock value, the finance, and the current situation with the company and its shareholders. Even if this company has a well known brand and business the inside working of the company shows a different picture. As of February 17, 2017 at 4:29 PM EST the price of a stock was 45.12 US Dollars with a 2.28% drop of price. Then P/E Ratio is currently at 18.54 and with current Earnings per Share value of .411. Cabela s has a cash flow of 51,241,000 US Dollars and a long term debt value of 3,158,085 US Dollars which means cash is limited for Cabela s. Consequences Of The Blue Hotel And Tennessee s Partner All Actions Have Consequences, Sometimes In Stephen Crane s The Blue Hotel and Bret Harte s Tennessee s Partner, many themes are evident; some of these themes are easily recognizable while others depend on the perception of the reader. The stories share the themes of personal integrity and that all actions have consequences. However, there are several themes that are unique to each story that can have a diverse effect on the reader, such as the rules of society to fear of the unknown. The plot and storyline of Tennessee s Partner is straightforward, but after reading the complex, diverse plot and storyline of Crane s The Blue Hotel, one can imagine many different plots that could have taken place throughout the story. People associated with the company should abide by these guidelines. In the given case, Lauren Smith was appointed as assistant account manager in the government contracts division of a large architecture and engineering firm. The clients of the firm were primarily federal and state governmental agencies. The firm had applied for an enormous project to design a new military hospital complex. The specific still I m using from the video is shown towards the end of the video when the camera completely zooms out revealing all the sleeping bodies. One of the main reasons this image captured my attention and caught me off guard was because of the people featured in the video and the fact that they were all completely naked. Here is a little bit of background on the song itself. During the 2009 VMAs Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video over Beyonce who was also nominated for the same category. The style of the song is very crucial in how it comes across to the listener. It is a simple song with a mellow sound and a focus on the lyrics. The song consists of Everlast s deep, dark voice and use of often graphic words. This song is consistent with the artist s usual style and combines elements of hip hop and blues. The sound of the acoustic guitar and the steady beat of the drum highlight the story being told instead of drowning it out, like many songs do. The input is muddy/brackish/saline water and we get pure water as output. This project revolves around design and fabrication of a solar distillation apparatus, which will give efficient distillation on a round the clock basis, and is capable of providing rural areas with pure and healthy drinking water supply. We will be concentrating our efforts on re designing the distillation apparatus for operation at maximum efficiency. The distillation tank will rest on a platform made of cast iron. A commercially available storage tank will be used for storing the saline water. This tank will then be covered by a glass cover, on top and other suitable materials will be used as thermal shield on the sides, to retain the heat. Reflectors will be added to supplement the incoming solar radiation. To make this apparatus function continuously, we plan to attach a solar panel powered rechargeable battery to an auxiliary heater which would help distil the water during night time. The sediment accumulated as impurity can be removed by manual cleaning of the internal tank once a week /fortnight. This entire process of designing and fabrication of this apparatus will take about 7 8 months after which it will be put to rigorous testing for about 2 months, to validate our claims. The dead man s wrist was handcuffed to a briefcase containing British coded documents pertaining to the upcoming invasion of Sardinia and Crete. The body was dumped overboard near the coast of Spain and Portugal and was washed up on shore. Churchill knew the Germans had the British code, and messages were sent to indicate the Allies plan was to attack Crete and Sardinia instead of Sicily. Hitler left soldiers in Sicily, but he split his forces and sent some to Crete and Sardinia. The Allied plan to attack Sicily did not go as well as hoped. The night the British and Americans spearheaded the attack the wind was blowing forty mph. The Americans landed fifty five miles from their target and many drowned. When the ground invasion came ashore between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., it was still dark, and the Allies could not quite see where they were coming ashore They had hoped the Germans and Italians would all be gone. These mercantilist policies massively boosted France s economy. The French people were to produce everything they needed, exports were increased, and immigration by talented peoples was encouraged. Positively, this approach allowed France to become a competitor in trade. The alternate hypothesis was: There is a significant relationship between individuals IQ score rank and instructional media preference. In a correlational study, an alternate hypothesis claims that a relationship exists between the variables (Gilbert, 2006). A relationship means that where learners score on the Stanford Binet Intelligence Scale is related to which medium they choose to use for instruction. Another way to write this is: Ha: ρXY ≠ 0, where Ha is the symbol for the alternative hypothesis, ρ for the significance which will be ≤0.5, and XY which represents the predictor variable, learner IQ, or X, paired with the criterion variable, or instructional media choice, or Y. For this study, the predictor variable, learner IQ score, is interpreted as a rank, an ordinal level of measurement and the criterion variable, instructional media preference, as a nominal level of measurement. According to Black (1999), Cramer s C (also known as V) is an appropriate statistical measure when a single sample examines ordinal and nominal levels of measurement. Terrorism from Above vs.Terrorism from Below Terrorism from above is known as state terrorism, state terrorism is not always a straightforward process in fact it is usually a covert, secret policy that allows states to claim deniability when accused of sponsoring terrorism. Sponsors of terrorism in terrorism from above, this means the state actively promotes terrorism and has been deemed what the U.S. call a rogue state. There are also enablers of state terrorism, enablers are states that operate in a manner to which being part of the problem means not just failing to cooperate fully in countering terrorism, but also doing some things that help enable it to occur. Links between regims and terrorism can range from very clear lines of sponsorship to indefinable associations. When a government is using terrorism as an instrument of statecraft they can often control the degree of their involvement so that any incidents of terrorism cannot be traced back to the government. We can then conclude that state sponsorship of terrorism is not as straightforward as it seems.
