The Security Risk Associated With Apps
The fourth issue that I will touch upon is the security risk associated with apps. There are apps for
everything you can think of. A lot of companies do business over mobile or personal devices so not
understanding what downloading that app that might seem convenient at the time could be installing
malware and stealing your private information. It is important and I know firsthand because I own an
android device and the Google Play store is loaded with dangerous and malicious apps that look nice
upfront but are garbage in reality. So my advice would be to read reviews and do extensive research to
determine if the app is truly safe and if all else fails just don t download the app. The last end user
security and this by no means these are the most important or only issues because there are plenty,
these were in my opinion ones that I felt should be touched upon. For my fourth issue I would like to
discuss the issue with mobile devices or businesses supplying workers with mobile devices to work
away from the desk which is becoming increasingly more demanding and popular. With the increase
in companies utilizing mobile devices as way to mobilize and expand their business security risks will
only continue to worsen and this is because of the end user. Typically an individual s personal device
that has not been educated very well on the implications of bad security practices is going to have

The importance of logic and rationality in life should not be understated, and as philosophy teaches
logic to its students, it should thusly be made mandatory. A rather common sentiment is that too many
people are taken advantage of because of their lack of critical thinking, logic and deductive reasoning .
With a prevalence of advertisements and large figures in the media trying to persuade others to believe
them, a mandatory philosophy class would teach students how to effectively apply logic so that they
will no longer be taken advantage of when facing premises in the media and in the world around them
that have less to do with a sound argument and more to do with rhetorical devices. Rick Lewis writes
that philosophy is based upon logic and reasoning, and that learning how to use logic is critical
