Introducing a game-changing
construction technique: the drilled
soldier pile wall with precast concrete
planks. This innovative method begins
with the precise drilling of caissons
into the ground, serving as anchors
for wide-flange steel columns.
These columns are strategically
placed and filled with concrete,
forming a robust framework. The
magic happens with the addition of
8-inch thick, 2' tall precast concrete
planks, seamlessly slotted between
the steel columns.
This combination creates a
formidable barrier against external
forces while streamlining
construction and reducing costs.
From commercial developments to

setting a new standard for quality
and efficiency in the industry. As the

triggered by unprecedented storms.
Through a comprehensive repair plan
leveraging hollow bar micro piles, soil
nails, and reinforced concrete structures,
the team stabilized the hillside.

With piles installed to
significant depths, the project
ensured structural support.
Additionally, regrading and the
application of jute netting
facilitated sustainable planting,
fostering long term erosion
control and environmental
preservation.
A year prior, we addressed a
similar slide at the same
location by employing caissons
and grade beams, a strategic
approach that allowed us to
preserve road access while
effectively mitigating the issue.
