IDENTITY
MOEVA
Moeva is an independent global, luxury swimwear
and resort wear brand founded in 2012.
By combining striking design and quality
craftsmanship, MOEVA introduced a new vision of
swimwear to the market. In 2018, with a strong
customer base, Moeva expanded its product range
to include activewear and menswear to it’s
collections in order to satisfy growing demand.
Moeva, with its impeccable quality, delivers
long-lasting, cyclical products that ensure total
contentment for their customer in each and every
design. Every detail is considered from the
fabric, lining, and closures, to the accessories.
MOEVA is the definition of timeless swimwear
with an element of surprise and freshness in its
design, whilst interpreting the latest European
fashion trends.

STORY
Moeva was founded by three inspiring women:
Damla Zirh, Yagmur Zirh, and Burcu Togay.
Damla and Yagmur were studying Business
Management & Economics at Regent’s
University, while Burcu was studying Design
at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art &
Design. The idea of MOEVA was inspired by
their need to find the right swimwear that
would make them feel beautiful, stylish, and
confident, both in and out of the water.
Eventually, they decided to build their own
brand, the foundation of which began during
their studies in London.
Moeva's name was selected during the first
stages of development. Inspired by strong
and elegant women, Burcu, Damla, and Yagmur
were in search of a name that could
personify their ideology of a woman.
“Mo” comes from a Far Eastern expression
which stands for brave and powerful, and
“Eva” symbolizes the first woman created.
These words combined not only emphasize the
courage and power of women, but also the
attitude of the brand. Burcu, with her eye
for defined strong linear lines and
geometric shapes, creates designs for women
to confidently embrace their femininity.
Damla and Yagmur, with their solid knowledge
of the fashion industry, head the
operations, managing the finances and
marketing of the brand. Each partner
balances the others' strengths and talents.
Led by these three women, MOEVA has grown
from strength to strength with the
assistance of their incredible team members
who constantly work together to evolve new
marketing strategies, product concepts, and
who all embody a great service attitude.

DESIGN
With designs that capture the pulse of fashion and art, and a
focus on perfection in details, Moeva represents irresistible
modernity. Each Moeva design is carefully researched in terms
of construction, silhouette, and color combinations to avoid
styles being restricted to a particular year, making Moeva
swimwear timeless.
Moeva's approach is both architectural and constructional.
Accessories are the heart of the design and each accessory
is designed individually. Special linings are carefully
crafted to flatter a woman's shape. All body types and age
groups are considered, so there is always a right fit within
each collection.

Moeva products are crafted with the highest quality materials and
craftsmanship. Each Moeva product is produced from high-quality
Italian fabrics, handmade by their talented production team who
work collaboratively through all stages of the creation process.
After production, each item is sent to LYCRA® laboratories to be
tested, both to ensure and to demonstrate the quality. Each Moeva
design comes with a certificate of Quality Assurance.

Apart from the fabric quality, Moeva uses the finest French and
Italian nickel-free gold-plated accessories that are non-hazardous
and environmentally friendly. The gold-plated accessories are also
non-heating, rustproof, and maintain their quality through
long-term use.

collaborations with various award-winning, industry-leading
beauty and cosmetic brands.Our brand collaborations have
made themselves known through campaign shoots, events,
limited edition products offered to customers, and services
specifically provided for customers.

Moeva continues to extend its reach through strategic design
collaborations with multiple brands like Roman, Sacred
Geometry, In-Formal, and Specktre.These design
collaborations have not only resulted in the creation of
limited edition products for our discerning customers, but
have also facilitated the provision of unique experience.
Through these alliances, Moeva is consistently enhancing its
global appeal, while simultaneously enriching the customer
experience with exclusive offerings.

MOEVA supports a future with equality where all women are
empowered with the same opportunities and rights, feeling
beautiful in all shapes and sizes.
Working towards this goal, MOEVA collaborated with chari-
ties; Breast Cancer Care, Equality Now, and the industry
leader Amoena® for implementing breast forms into some of
their classic designs.
In 2016, Creative Director Burcu Tanman created their first
mastectomy swimsuit, both designer-made and functional for
women who have undergone a mastectomy. Committed to the
pursuit of a sustainable future, MOEVA is dedicated to be a
more responsible and environmentally conscious company.
MOEVA collaborates with companies that prioritize recycle
materials, renewable energy, water-saving, and eco-friendly
development.

Every Moeva product is handmade from high-quality Italian
fabrics at all stages of the creation process. Known for
their detailed design research, specially developed
production techniques, and the use of the highest quality
materials, Moeva swimsuits are recognized for their
silhouettes that suit every body type. With this approach,
the brand has quickly achieved great success worldwide and
also has a strong social responsibility mission.
Currently, 98% of Moeva's workforce is female, and the
brand aims to make a difference with their strong
identities and social responsibility missions, while
supporting a future where all women are empowered and
equality prevails. In pursuit of a sustainable future,
Moeva is committed to becoming a more responsible and
environmentally conscious company.

Waste is a problem, and it has been for a long
time, ending up in landfills. We continuously try
to reduce and eliminate our waste responsibly.
All kinds of waste are separated and sent to
certified third-party companies for recycling and
decomposition.
We try to raise awareness about about a garment’s
end life and to educate our customers on how to
recycle their products properly. We started a
Take-Back program for our customers which enable
them to send their MOEVA pieces they don’t use
anymore and we recycle it for them.
We take responsibility and consider ethical and
environmental impacts of our transportation
operations. We use Shopify Planet to offset the
carbon footprint of each order
.
REDUCING OUR IMPACT
We commit to our duty to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions and continuously try to minimize our
carbon footprint. MOEVA garments are locally
made, we try to use transportation methods that
will generate less emissions. We also collaborate
with suppliers that share our values and goals.
We use Shopify Planet to offset the carbon

We regularly calculate, track and monitor our
water footprint and try to minimize our water
usage. As the textile industry is one of the
industries that use water the most, we
collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers that
have policies in place to control and reduce
their water consumption. We took little steps in
reducing our energy consumption and have plans to
use renewable energy sources in the close future.

MOEVA works with companies that prioritize environmentally friendly
development, supporting the use of recycled materials and renewable
energy, and promoting water conservation.
MOEVA is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions worldwide
and fulfilling the obligation to shrink the carbon footprint. MOEVA
products are domestically produced and methods that produce less
greenhouse gas for transportation are used. Thanks to Shopify Planet,
customers neutralize the carbon footprint of their purchases in
online orders.
We are against animal testing.
As a brand, we aim to minimize our environmental impact on the world
by taking sustainable steps, using FSC approved and recycled
materials. Our packaging is made from FSC approved paper and reflects
our mission of sustainability. Our suppliers monitor and reduce
waste, water
, energy, and chemical usage in the production process.

season. These fairs include Splash Paris and Unique by Mode
City in Paris, Miami Swimshow, Cabana and Swim Collective in

  • 4. BRAND THE BRAND IDENTITY MOEVA Moeva is an independent global, luxury swimwear and resort wear brand founded in 2012. By combining striking design and quality craftsmanship, MOEVA introduced a new vision of swimwear to the market. In 2018, with a strong customer base, Moeva expanded its product range to include activewear and menswear to it’s collections in order to satisfy growing demand. Moeva, with its impeccable quality, delivers long-lasting, cyclical products that ensure total contentment for their customer in each and every design. Every detail is considered from the fabric, lining, and closures, to the accessories. MOEVA is the definition of timeless swimwear with an element of surprise and freshness in its design, whilst interpreting the latest European fashion trends. THE BRAND 03
  • 5. BRAND IDENTITY 04 MOEVA THE BRAND STORY Moeva was founded by three inspiring women: Damla Zirh, Yagmur Zirh, and Burcu Togay. Damla and Yagmur were studying Business Management & Economics at Regent’s University, while Burcu was studying Design at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design. The idea of MOEVA was inspired by their need to find the right swimwear that would make them feel beautiful, stylish, and confident, both in and out of the water. Eventually, they decided to build their own brand, the foundation of which began during their studies in London. Moeva's name was selected during the first stages of development. Inspired by strong and elegant women, Burcu, Damla, and Yagmur were in search of a name that could personify their ideology of a woman. “Mo” comes from a Far Eastern expression which stands for brave and powerful, and “Eva” symbolizes the first woman created. These words combined not only emphasize the courage and power of women, but also the attitude of the brand. Burcu, with her eye for defined strong linear lines and geometric shapes, creates designs for women to confidently embrace their femininity. Damla and Yagmur, with their solid knowledge of the fashion industry, head the operations, managing the finances and marketing of the brand. Each partner balances the others' strengths and talents. Led by these three women, MOEVA has grown from strength to strength with the assistance of their incredible team members who constantly work together to evolve new marketing strategies, product concepts, and who all embody a great service attitude.

Each Moeva design is carefully researched in terms of construction, silhouette, and color combinations to avoid styles being restricted to a particular year, making Moeva swimwear timeless. Moeva's approach is both architectural and constructional. Accessories are the heart of the design and each accessory is designed individually. Special linings are carefully crafted to flatter a woman's shape. All body types and age groups are considered, so there is always a right fit within each collection. 05

Each Moeva product is produced from high-quality Italian fabrics, handmade by their talented production team who work collaboratively through all stages of the creation process. After production, each item is sent to LYCRA® laboratories to be tested, both to ensure and to demonstrate the quality. Each Moeva design comes with a certificate of Quality Assurance. In 2016, Creative Director Burcu Tanman created their first mastectomy swimsuit, both designer-made and functional for women who have undergone a mastectomy. Committed to the pursuit of a sustainable future, MOEVA is dedicated to be a more responsible and environmentally conscious company. Currently, 98% of Moeva's workforce is female, and the brand aims to make a difference with their strong identities and social responsibility missions, while supporting a future where all women are empowered and equality prevails.   • 21. BRAND IDENTITY MOEVA RESPONSIBILITY Waste is a problem, and it has been for a long time, ending up in landfills. We continuously try to reduce and eliminate our waste responsibly. All kinds of waste are separated and sent to certified third-party companies for recycling and decomposition. We try to raise awareness about about a garment’s end life and to educate our customers on how to recycle their products properly. We started a Take-Back program for our customers which enable them to send their MOEVA pieces they don’t use anymore and we recycle it for them. We take responsibility and consider ethical and environmental impacts of our transportation operations. We use Shopify Planet to offset the carbon footprint of each order . REDUCING OUR IMPACT We commit to our duty to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and continuously try to minimize our carbon footprint. MOEVA garments are locally made, we try to use transportation methods that will generate less emissions. We also collaborate with suppliers that share our values and goals. We use Shopify Planet to offset the carbon footprint of each order . We regularly calculate, track and monitor our water footprint and try to minimize our water usage. As the textile industry is one of the industries that use water the most, we collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers that have policies in place to control and reduce their water consumption. MOEVA products are domestically produced and methods that produce less greenhouse gas for transportation are used. Thanks to Shopify Planet, customers neutralize the carbon footprint of their purchases in online orders. We are against animal testing. As a brand, we aim to minimize our environmental impact on the world by taking sustainable steps, using FSC approved and recycled materials.
