Methodology

The proposed methodology for our college project involves the development of a web
application aimed at empowering local residents to effectively sell their products, both
within the local market and online. The project leverages a comprehensive tech stack,
combining HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a dynamic and responsive user interface. The
front-end development is further enhanced using React, a powerful JavaScript library for
building user interfaces with a modular and efficient approach. For server-side functionality,
Node.js, a runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine, is employed, along with the
Express.js framework for creating robust and scalable web applications. The templating
engine EJS (Embedded JavaScript) is utilized to dynamically generate HTML markup with
data from the server, facilitating seamless integration of front-end and back-end
components. To manage and optimize data, various data structures are implemented,
ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and manipulation of information essential for the
application's core functionalities. This comprehensive tech stack allows us to create a user-
friendly, feature-rich web application that caters to the needs of local sellers, providing them
with a platform to showcase and sell their products both locally and online.
