Drake s new album called Views extremely caught my attention. This album had
numerous exceptional songs that I could easily relate to. I connected to this album
better than his other albums that were produced because this album had more
diversity. Views were the fourth studio album by Drake and were also supported
by five billboard singles: Hotline Bling , One Dance , Pop Style , Controlla and
Too Good , which are some my favorite tracks from this album. I absolutely love
this album because it shows the struggles that Drake has faced emotionally and it

about because China felt the island should be a part of China and not separate.

classroom I have an abundance of diversity with different types of learners. My

Drought is a form of a natural abiotic stress in plants that affects plant growth and is
characterized as one of the most widespread environmental stresses occurring

The painting is inspired by the night view. It is a painting that was done by oil on
canvas just as the way traditional paintings are done. However, the starry night was

world. In the story, Cathedral by Raymond Carver, the author takes us through a day
in the life of a husband who is forced by his wife to meet and entertain her longtime
friend Robert who happens to be blind. The husband is not exactly excited by this
visit. The author illustrates the characters development beginning as apprehensive
and jealous, transitioning to more of an uncomfortable feeling, and finally ending
with acceptance as the husband is put into a situation where he gains a new

In Samson Occom s collective writings, Occom uses his religious convictions to

This distinctive book called, Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, is one
of very few exquisite readings I ve completed so far. Daniel Kahneman is a
psychologist in Princeton University, and due to his research, he won a Nobel
Prize in 2002 in economics. In the beginning of his book, he speaks of our
cognitive System 1 and System 2 ways of thinking. System 1 generates feelings,
impressions, and memory. It is very instinctive, automatic, and is considered quick
thinking. System 2 on the other hand, is alert during complex problem solving,
while dealing with facts and knowledge, and is attentive while working with
difficult calculations. For example, a problem such as 24 x 13, this takes more time
and knowledge to figure out (System 2), rather then recognizing an emotion from
face expressions (System 1). When System 1 is strained, your System 2 steps in to
help you process through that specific instant. Now aside from the psychological
portion of this book, Mr. Kahneman divulges about a consolidated economic analysis
with elemental intuitions from the psychological perspective; such as, luck and skill,
overconfidence, risks in the stock market, factors of success and the decision making
process. This book is overall concluded with the understanding of behavioral
economics, which is the social and cognitive components on economic decisions that
are defined by individuals and have consequences that reflect from making those
decisions and taking those risks.

of a financial strain on the South than on the North. Putting a tax on whiskey hurts

ABSTRACT: In this a fuzzy logic control technique has been proposed for power
quality improvement by using UPQC The UPQC is controlled to regulate the WF
terminal voltage, and to mitigate voltage fluctuations at the point of common
coupling (PCC), caused by system load changes and pulsating WF generated power,
respectively. In order to reduce the voltage fluctuations that may cause flicker , and
improve WF terminal voltage regulation, several solutions have been posed. The
voltage regulation at WF terminal is conducted using the UPQC series converter, by
voltage injection in phase with PCC voltage. On the other hand, the shunt converter
is used to filter the WF generated power to prevent voltage fluctuations, requiring
active and reactive power handling capability. The sharing of active power between
converters is managed through the common DC link. A customized internal fuzzy
logic control scheme of the UPQC device was developed to regulate the voltage in the
WF terminals, and to mitigate voltage fluctuations at grid side. Simulation results
show the effectiveness of the proposed compensation strategy for the enhancement of
Power Quality.

Majestic, noble, and brave, this famous iconic wild animal on the planet has
captivated the people since the beginning of time. They are most feared by other
animals thus, known as the king of the jungle no other than the lions. Member of the
genus Panthera, the lion is one of the big cats in the Felidae family. A lion s head and
body size average about 4.5 to 6.5 feet and tail of about 26 to 40 inches in length. A
lion also weighs about 265 up to 420 pounds and a size relative to a 6 foot human.
These mammals are also carnivores. Lions have always seen hunting in groups
called pride. While lions generally avoid a full grown elephant, lions still prefer their
preys large like the zebras, buffaloes, and giraffes. Poised as the top animal in the
ecological pyramid, lions have strong physical qualities, fascinating reputation, and an
unfortunate decreasing number of population.
Without a doubt, lions have strong physical qualities. One, in particular, is the lions

world. The people that were sent to these concentration camps were treated as less

The way Frankl described it made it seem as if it was one of those situations where a
person responds in a way that is not socially acceptable, but they cannot help it. In
this case, the inmates found humor in the sense that they were in disbelief that these
things were happening to them and did not know how to react. The other emotion
that was immediately felt by the inmates entering the camp was curiosity because
they did not know whether they were going to live or die. Living in the camps for the
first few days filled the inmates with questions about whether or not they would
survive and how they would go about doing so. Also, almost every inmate justifiably
entertained thoughts of suicide, but according to Frankl there was little point in
committing suicide, since, for the average inmate, life expectation, [...] was very poor

Nike s Social and Experiential Value Creation
Nike over the years has been the leader in athletic shoe designs and remains there
today. It is the reason that Nike is differentiated from its competitors and provides
experiential and social value for its customers. In fact, Nike has put so much
emphasis in design and marketing behind their shoe trends that Nike shoes are among
the most counterfeited product in a $461 billion market according to a report by

For further analysis on Nike s design oriented focus, we will be looking at the product
line of Nike Jordan Shoes. The Air Jordan shoes are consumer focused shoes that
provide trendy designs associated with the growing basketball culture in North
America, started by basketball icon Michael Jordan. In 1985, Peter Moore who
was working for Nike as a lead designer wanted to create a product that would relate
to individuals and provide an emotional and social connection to pure design by
relating it to a player that revolutionized the game of basketball. Many argue that
this was the shoe to start the current fashion culture of athletic shoes. Michael
Jordan was drafted third by the Chicago Bulls in 1984, and in commemoration for
that event, the Air Jordan I was created with a striking balance of red, white, and
black representing the Chicago Bulls. With the famous Nike Swoosh logo on its
design, Michael Jordan wore the shoes in every game that he played that season
getting paid $2.5 Million by Nike for an endorsement deal. It was the start of a
design revolution by Nike and was one of the most attractive shoes at the time. In
the next 33 years till 2017, the Nike Air Jordan has made Nike a fortune worth over
2.25 billion, through their excellent design and significant part of culture and
society. Today individuals are a part of the #Jumpman movement with over 13
million followers on Instagram, Nike has used their ability to market their
infamous design of the Jordan logo (a man jumping with a basketball) to create
social value and create an inclusive social movement of athletes all around the
