This presentation shows the brand essence framework of Rubics Skills, a skill development program. It gives gives a brief outline of the idea of Rubics Skills.
3. Vision : What about the world is changing that makes us
necessary?
4. ● STEM is an old concept in the developed countries but is very
recent or relatively unknown in India and other developing
countries.
● The developed countries are already at the brink of a STEM
crisis.
● More than 135 million Chinese and Indians graduate from
college in the same time frame, compared to just 30 million in
the United States.
5. ● For India, the burgeoning population is a major problem and
trained manpower can be the biggest resource.
● Untrained manpower can be the biggest cause for concern.
● Skill development in India, unlike in China does not take
place until graduation.
6. ● Most institutions in India and China are of very poor quality.
● There is a skill gap in skills used in 2015 and those that will be
used in 2020 and 2025.
● India is working towards a india@75 vision to declare the
country as inclusively developed by 2022 and skill
development is a major agenda.
7. ● At Rubics Skills we are attempting to develop skill areas of
candidates from Grade 6 onwards.
● We train candidates on the M aspect of STEM and on soft
skills needed to solve problems of M.
● It is an attempt to upskill candidates to make them ready for
the jobs of the future and to counter the shift in the future of
work which will be mostly technology driven.

9. ● Rubics Skills is a platform for candidates who are sincere
about aspect of STEM and soft skills needed to solve STEM
problems.
● WE aim to involve candidates in both the spheres and make
them ready to take on jobs of the future.

11. ● Rubics Skills is a program which is conducted online through
a series of sessions by eminent faculty trained in the M of
STEM and faculty competent to train candidates on soft skills.
● It is attempt to cover as many geographical regions as
possible pan India to spread the reach of the program.
● The content is both eLearning and highly interactive.
● It is portable as it can be accessed online in runtime from
anywhere within the reach of broadband services.
12. ● The skills will be in accordance with the Grade and will
increase in level of difficulty with the Grade.
● Assessments are used to determine the skill level of the
candidates and they have an opportunity to develop their
areas of weakness.
● Personality determination tests are used for it.
14. ● The content is highly interactive and a high degree of
collaboration is expected from the candidates.
● An effective communication and feedback mechanism is a key
to the success of the program.
15. Emotion : If we were a person what would we be like?
16. ● If we were to personify the program, we would like to be seen
as a smart, competent and learned personality ready to take
on the future internationally with zeal.

18. ● An awareness creating program is done both online via digital
media and offline via a series of events, seminars and
canavasing.
● A presence is given at national and international trade fairs in
collaboration with NASSCOM and the CII.
