others emotions was an ability I had underestimated before taking this course.
However, after learning about emotional intelligence s relevance to the business
environment, and how it effects every interaction and decision I make, I have

Discriminative Robust Local Binary Pattern (DRLBP) and Discriminative Robust
Local Ternary Pattern (DRLTP) for objectrecognition. The proposed DLBP and
DRLTP are derived from the drawback of the Local Binary Pattern (LBP), Local
Ternary Pattern (LTP) and Robust LBP (RLBP).The LBP code and the RLBP code
are mapped in the same block .The proposed feature solves the problem of
discrimination between a bright object against dark background and vice versa. The
proposed feature retains contrast information for representation of object contours
the LBP, LTP and RLBP discards. By this proposed features the objects in the image
can be further analyzed for the exact location of the object in the given image.

What do you think would happen if the rich paid more taxes? Would there be a

taxes would help out our economy in a few ways. one way that it would help out

Everyone might have once imagined dark environments and scary creatures which
live in the deep sea. These childlike dreams are visualized in the popular novel,
Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea. In the novel, the main character, Pierre
Aronnax, searches for a mysterious sea monster while fighting with scary undersea
creatures. Although many undersea creatures have been depicted in the novel, one of
the striking deep sea creatures would be a giant octopus. This octopus is depicted as a
scary creatures that threatens the main character. Many people might think the
creatures are fake, but the giant octopus exists, which is also well known by today s

As I began to view the looming waters beneath my feet, I felt a sudden rush of fears
and excitement. the foreign experience of swimming was finally being confronted. I
didn t know whether to proceed and risk drowning, sinking, every other exaggerated

The Ancient Greeks used mythical characters not only to create stories but to also
signify what traits that the people who read them should strive for. In the stories that
the hero Perseus is in we can see many of these traits that were significant in the

beginning of the movie, there is a scene where we see Chris Gardner approaching
and trying to talk to Mr.Twistle. We see a long shotof them both which shows us
that they both are dressed in suits, which means that they both might be office
workers. The long shot then drifts and became a mid shot. The director could have
purposely done that to show that Mr.Twistle is in a hurry and has no time to speak
with Chris. Chris Gardner and Mr.Twistle got in the same cab. While they are in
the same taxi together, we see that Chris is talking to Mr.Twistle but the close up of
Mr.Twistle s face shows that he s not interested in what Chris is saying. This is
because Twistle is just playing with a Rubik s cube. We then see an over the
shoulder shot which shows that it could mean that Chris is desperately wanting to
talk to Mr.Twistle. Mr.Twistle then says to Chris I m sorry, this thing is impossible.
The extreme close up of Chris s face shows that he is determined to do whatever it

A minority of critics and movie analysts have attempted to pick at the sexual aspect
of American Beauty in hopes of uncovering a hidden meaning instead they are simply
over reaching. American Beauty is a satire that aims to shed some much needed light
on the hidden world that lives in the American suburban setting. Successfully
accomplished by Mendes through the exposure of certain topics and sexuality
undoubtably being one of them. Ricky s father Colonel Frank Fitts a military man
who brings his military world of discipline and order to the management of his family
is ironically a homophobe. The ironyis displayed at the last scene of the movie where
its revealed that the colonel himself is a homosexual man when he kisses Lester.
Likewise Lester and Jane s friend Angela s relationship is created upon aesthetic
desire from both parties; the sexual half part of the relationship never comes to life
but the relationship stirs much controversy nonetheless. Both examples provide room
for the minority argument although these examples only play a part in the mocking
and exposure of the hidden scandals that occur within the suburban setting and
neither make it to the final message that Mendes want his viewers to walk away with.

Jochebed and Miriam
Jochebed and Miriam (Moses mother and sister respectively) showed a great deal of
courage when facing an edict from a powerful Pharaoh.
On the other hand, the Egyptian leader was not courageous. He had complete
control of the Hebrew slaves, and yet he feared them so much he ordered the death
of all newborn baby boys.
Into this chaos and turmoil, Moses is born. Desperate to save her son, Jochebed
kept him hidden. Every whimper from this baby must have brought fear into her
heart, but her faith kept her strong. She knew Moses was special and God had great
plans for him. Three months pass and this scared mother knew she must execute a
different plan to save her son s life.
Moses mother placed him in a basket (a tiny boat made of papyrus reeds and
waterproofed with tar) and positioned the basket strategically for safety. Miriam
(probably only about seven years old) watched over him. They knew Pharaoh s
daughter frequents here.

The problem that I would like to solve is the obesity in America, especially in the
lower classes and younger citizens. Since America has one of the highest rate of
obesity in the world it is a huge issue that is increasing quickly. This subject is

Classical Conditioning And Taste Aversion Therapy
In the early twentieth century, a Russian scientist named Pavlov developed the idea
of classical conditioning a kind of learning which one learns to connect a certain
stimuli with another. Aversion therapy formed on this concept of learning, one the
very first investigations by Charles Elton during the 1940s. This method of
psychotherapy has been attempted to discourage behaviors sought to be socially
unacceptable, such as alcoholism, homosexuality, and other addictions. A specific
type is taste aversion therapy, which is used for alcoholics. The researchers attempt to
get the patient to associate alcoholsubstances with nausea, which is actually caused
by a nausea inducing chemical combined with the beverage. Though the alcohol did
not induce the nausea, the patient will still associate the sickness with the alcoholic
beverage, consequently causing them to avoid any substance of alcohol. Multiple
studies have been demonstrated throughout the time since Elton first investigated it,
although there has not been hardcore evidence that taste aversion therapy is a more
effective way of treating alcoholics and other addictions.

When looking at the covers for Monster I definitely agree that they are targeted
towards males because the colors used and the male on both covers. Considering that
