2. What is Community Park?
Community parks are an essential seating of the urban life provided
community to gather around, spend quality time, playground for
youngers and other physical activity for the rest of age group.
Neighborhood parks gives natural environment and relief from built
environment to the residents. They may provide a range of facilities and
passive or active recreation and cultural characteristic of surrounding
neighborhood with opportunities for interaction with nature.
Neighborhood parks are largely accessible by foot, vehicles, public
transit, bicycle within at least quarter mile radius from residence and
providing easy access especially for children and senior adults.
