Business Information Analysis
As technology is continously changing so is the amount of information produced as well. The way
organizations store this information and how its accessible is crucial for the company. Managing such
information can make the difference of the company survival and also to be able to stay abeast in its
market. According to Lohrey, Jackie (2017) Information is a critical business resource and like any
other critical resource must be properly managed. Constantly evolving technology, however, is
changing the way even very small businesses manage vital business information. Organizations have
to become equipped with the essential resources available to increase efficiency and improve
productivity. This will help the output of the company, cut cost, ... Show more content on

Firstly, organizations have to make sure its company culture embrace strong ethic values and also
demonstrate this at all levels of the organization hierachy. Unfortunately, the organization do have to
take into consideration and monitor if any external issues arise. With case sensitive information being
accessible all precautions of to be taken and others actions are accountable. Another issue that could
arise for an organization is privacy. As technology evolves companies have access and gain
information on consumers and even employees that a concern of privacy could arise. Information on
consumers is gathered to understand how to market to consumers, and also to build brand awareness.
For numerous organizations privacy has became a concern which resulted in the company changing its

Women in Iran Essay
Women s rights in the Middle East have always been a controversial issue. Although the rights of
women have changed over the years, they have never really been equal to the rights of a man. This
poses a threat on Iran because women have very limited options when it comes to labor, marriage and
other aspects of their culture. I believe that equal treatment for women and men is a fundamental
principal of international human rights standards. Yet, in some places like Iran, discriminatory
practices against women are not only prevalent, but in some cases, required by law. In this essay I will
explain to you the every day life of an every day Islamic woman living in Iran. You will be astonished
by what these women have endured through the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Not only are women not allowed to choose how they dress, they also aren t allowed to choose where
they would like to work or go to school. They can t work with men because they are segregated from
men in every aspect of public life. They also are barred from taking employment in a large number of
occupations simply because these jobs would compromise their chastity. A married woman is only
allowed to be employed if she has the consent of her husband. Women are forbidden to choose their
own academic or vocational field of study and there are 169 fields of study that are strictly for men
only. A recent law that was just made in 1990 forbids women to drive, which made it impossible for
them to transport themselves independently.
Iranian women have to depend quite frequently on men to survive. Women aren t even allowed to
travel unless they have permission of their husbands or fathers. Marriage also is a crucial element to
an Iranian woman s life. The legal age of marriage is nine years old and most women are not allowed
their husband of choice. Women are also not allowed equal rights to divorce. It is only under extreme
conditions, such as insanity of their spouse, that they are allowed to file for divorce. Even in the event
of the divorce, the father has legal custody of boys after the age of two and girls after the age of seven.
It is also crucial to have a husband because if women are involved in any other voluntary sexual

Business Process Redesign or Reengineering
Business Process Redesign or Reengineering
Business Process Redesign (BPR) or Reengineering is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign
of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of
performance, such as cost, quality, service, and speed (Hammer and Champy, Reengineering). Since
the BPR idea has surfaced it has been under constant ridicule by the popular press.
They say it takes far too long, creates management headaches, fails 70% of the time, and it s only for
big companies with big checkbooks (Hydrel...). However,
I feel that with the right plan, the right people, and total commitment from those involved, BPR or
Reengineering can work for any company.

However, this idea didn t last long due to the overwhelming number of replies from the Ideas To Bank
On, which was a suggestion box. And TCB was forced to create about 180 process teams. Which
included senior managers, process managers, team leaders, and about 1,800 employees (Betting...).
This move, however, caused a bit of turmoil in the whole process due to he fact that, many employees
weren t use to works in groups. And eventually led to the redesign phase, one that went to drastic
measures and wiped the slate clean. This time, however, the bank knew what it had to do. So this time
TCB moved quickly through the process, and it led to quick results. They began by redesigning the
bank s lines, question certain products, eliminated processes, and apply newer technologies. And
finally a blue print emerged. Which included narrative descriptions of processes, new flowcharts, all
projects cost/benefit analyses, and the implementation of strategies. The benefits of this process were
significant: 16,000 ideas, 1005 projects, 1,100 positions to be terminated, and $43M in reduced
expenses (Betting...). So now that a new plan is in place TCB has taken the appropriate steps to keep
them in working order. The 1,005 recommendations have been assigned to teams within the line of
business. Formal project plans for each team are developed and gathered weekly and are loaded into a
database for tracking by other interdependencies

The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ
When it comes to the resurrection of Jesus Christ there are many different theories on what actually
happened. As Christians we believe what is said in the Bible, but sometimes our minds cannot help but
wonder what if . The legitimacy of the Bible regarding the resurrection of Jesus has been questioned
time and again, what most do not realize is, there is proof that Jesus rose from the grave. With the
empty tomb, eyewitnesses and the changed lives of the Disciples, we are able to prove that the
resurrection of Jesus did indeed happened.
The empty tomb could quite honestly be the strongest proof that Jesus resurrected from his grave.
Even Roman and Jewish tradition admits to the empty tomb. When Jesus was found by the women to
be resurrected the disciples did not go off to a far land to preach where it could have been easy to lie
about it. They went and preached in Jerusalem where Jesus died and was buried. It was easy for
everyone to go and verify that Jesus was indeed actually gone. If Jesus was still there in the tomb, no
one would have believed them. Paul Althaus writes, the resurrection proclamation could not have been
maintained in Jerusalem for a single day, for a single hour, if the emptiness of the tomb had not been
established as a fact for all concerned. Even with all of this there are still a few theories that deny this.
Some believe that they simply went to the wrong tomb. If the women went to the wrong tomb, why
did they not redirect them to the write

Effects Of Thymosin On The Human Body
What are the effects of Thymosin ß 4 on the Human Body?
Nolan P. Stringfellow
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
Jefferson Davis Campus
Abstract
Introduction
Thymosin ß 4 is a naturally occurring immunological hormone that is secreted by the thymus gland.
According to Thymosin beta 4 | ProSpec. (2011, March 01). Retrieved March 27, 2017, from
http://www.prospecbio.com/Thymosin_beta 4_7_171/ thymosin also assists in the development of B
cells to plasma cells to produce antibodies. The dominant form of thymosin, thymosin b4, is a member
of a highly conservative family of actin monomer sequestering proteins. Thyomosin in the body is
composed of 43 different amino acids ( Ac Ser Asp Lys Pro Asp Met Ala Glu Ile Glu Lys Phe Asp Lys

Most of the hormones present in the human body are transported through the blood. Hormones
according to www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/nature/etc/hormones can influence the
function of the immune system and alter one s behavior. These chemical signals are the reason for
many factor including why one s arms are the same length, why one can turn food into a viable fuel,
and why one grows through puberty. Hormones are indicative of changes in target cells by binding to
hormone receptors. In this way, even though hormones circulate throughout the body and meet
different cell types, they only affect cells that possess the necessary receptors. Receptors of a specific
hormone can be found on different cells or a small number of specialized cells. Per www.pbs.com/ the
thyroid hormones act on different tissue types, stimulating metabolic activity throughout the body.
Cells can have receptors for the identical hormone, but often also possess receptors for different types
of hormones. The number of receptors that respond to a hormone determines the cell s sensitivity to a
specific hormone. The number of receptors that respond to a hormone can change over time, resulting
in increasing or decreasing the cell s sensitivity. Often in up regulation, the number of receptors
increases to rising hormone levels, making the cell more sensitive to the hormone. Down regulation
describes when a cell is decreasing the quantity of a cellular component. When the cells respond to a
hormone, they express a specific receptor for that specific hormone. The hormone binds to the
receptor protein, resulting in the activation of a mechanism that ultimately leads to cell type specific
responses. Receptor binding alters cellular activity, resulting in an increase or decrease in normal body
processes. According to www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline depending on the location of the protein

Compare And Contrast Left And Right Wings
Left and Right wings are ideology which has a pivot around the rights of people and powers of the
government. The left wing is Liberal who has believed that society together can give the best outcome
for the government as its part. On the other hand, right wings are Conservative which is predominate
to individual rights and civil liberates. Its main factor is government should have minimum powers all,
but people should have their rights and freedom for life.

The book starts by having a sailor by the name of Robert Walton writing letter to his sister about his
adventures as a sailor. He tells his sister how he is north of london in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He also
tells his sister how he can feel the cold air coming from the North Pole where he is going to be

NCAA Recruiting Issues
Once the proposal was shown, the NCAA council and the committee made all necessary changes; they
were then able to call for a special convention that same year in 1973 (Katz Seifried 2014). This time,
Sherman proposed three legislative and three competitive divisions (Katz Seifried 2014). The
institutions would be able to pick a division without considering their football teams, and then the
College Football Committee would determine where the college football team should fall and the
institution would follow suit (Katz Seifried 2014). He also proposed by 1975 that there would be 39
national championships and 10 in each division (Katz Seifried 2014). Once brought to a vote, the
results were much different: 366 were in favor and only 13 were not (Katz Seifried 2014). The birth of
the three divisions we know of today was then officially born, but these three divisions all had their

Recruiting can happen face to face contact, phone calls or through email. A contact can happen at any
time a college coach says more than hello during a face to face meeting with a student athlete off the
college campus. An evaluation happens when a college coach observes a student athlete practicing or
competing. A verbal commitment occurs when a student athlete verbally agrees to play sports for a
college before he or she signs the National Letter of Intent. A verbal commitment is not set in stone, so
at any time the student athlete or college can withdraw from the agreement. When the student athlete
commits to attend a NCAA Division I, II, or III school, he or she signs a National Letter of Intent,
agreeing to attend that school for one academic year (NCAA Recruiting, 2015). These general
recruiting guidelines apply despite other small differences between individual

Pros And Cons Of Independence Movements
Independence movements have occurred across the globe as long as countries have existed. Stronger
and more developed countries frequently attempt to grow their empires through means of colonization
or imperialism which leave long lasting effects on nations and generations to come. The two nations
that I have chosen to compare and contrast with regards to independence movements are Morocco and
Brazil. Each country experienced pros and cons during the time they were under the control of
different nations and each was able to establish independence after growing pains and frustrations
occurred.
Analysis
Although both countries, Morocco and Brazil, were products of European imperialism, they each
encountered very different experiences. Morocco was a French protectorate between the years of 1912
and 1955. When nearby countries experienced economic weakness and crises, they succumbed to rule
by the British, Turkish or French. Morocco was able to avoid exterior control until rivalries between
European nations started increasing until inevitably, France stepped in. Morocco had previously been
independent for over 1,000 years and had openly accepted influences from Muslin Iberia as well as the
Ottoman Empire. France had expressed interest in Morocco as early as 1830 as the country was
deemed advantageous geographically, and Portugal was gaining protectorates and control of the
Atlantic coast of Africa.
Morocco opposed French rule and frustrations stemmed from the start even though

An Investigation Based On The Arrhenius Law
INTRODUCTION
This investigation is based on the Arrhenius law, A formula created by Professor Svante Arrhenius that
combines the Boltzmann distribution law with the concept of activation energy (Stephen Lower
2011a) to depict one of the most important relationships between temperature and rate of reaction in
chemistry to date. In the formula,
K = e ≈ 2.71828
A = Arrhenius constant = Activation Energy
RT = Average kinetic energy (Universal gas constant × Temperature in Kelvins) In this experiment, the
main focus is placed on the Arrhenius plot, which is derived through the manipulation of the Arrhenius
equation to remove its exponential form by taking the natural log of both sides of the equation which
forms lnk=lnA E_A/RT A ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This topic appealed to me, as it seemed like a sound concept in theory, but could not find any
discussion based on using the Arrhenius plot for physical processes.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
2.1 Sublimation; an endothermic process
Sublimation is the term describing the transition of a substance from the solid phase to the gas phase
without passing through an intermediary liquid phase. (Anne Marie Helmenstine 2014a) It is a
physical change of state, which occurs at temperatures and pressures below the triple point of the
substance, the point where the temperature and pressure causes the 3 phases: solid, liquid and vapour,
of a single component system to be in equilibrium. (Blackwell Scientific Publications Oxford 1997)
This definition shows that sublimation is a purely physical process; so a substance does not undergo a
chemical reaction during sublimation.
This diagram represents a typical endothermic reaction: Fig. 2: Endothermic reaction enthalpy change
(hferrier n.d.)
As displayed in figure 2, a substance requires kinetic energy greater or equal to its activation energy in
order for it to change from its initial form to its product. The activation energy shown is one of the
pathways that a reaction takes with respect to the pressure that it is subjected to. Consider that for a
substance to change from its solid phase to its gas phase the bonds are all fixed in a position and when
the particles have enough energy, they are able to

Abstinence In School
There are a lot of schools nationwide that do not offer a sex education course to early high school
students. Schools that do offer the course tend to focus entirely on abstinence. However, the reality of
it all is that sexual intercourse is a natural part of life. There are many students that take abstinence
only classes and leave the class with only the knowledge of not taking part in intercourse. Many
young students miss out on important information that they should be informed of. All students should
take a Sex Education class in their early high school years to protect them and build a responsible
mindset.
There are parents that feel uncomfortable with their children taking a sex education class. This can be

The Inuktitut Culture
Some of the questions and observations I mention as arising from an ecological perspective, such as
the effect of tribal movement and climate change, link with ones that might arise when approaching
anthropological work with First Nation peoples in northern Canada from a cultural angle. The Cree
and Inuit, along with other First Nation tribes, are often described in relation to their intimate ties with
the environment. This intimacy (Hallenday) shapes every aspect of their cultures how they hunt, how
they socialize, even their language. The Inuktitut language, for example, is known for its linguistic
variability in finely distinguishing between different types of weather, the subtlety of which is easily
lost in translation (throughout Hallenday s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While a best definition of the term culture remains elusive, most anthropologists would agree on the
necessity for having a working definition. John Monaghan and Peter Just elegantly define the slippery
notion of culture as our capacity to conceptualize the world and to communicate those conceptions
symbolically (2000).
In a paper on Indigenous knowledge production around diabetes, Heather Howard makes the point
that
Individual illness and disease are inseparable from collective experience. They are interpreted through
shared, distinct, intersecting, historical and ongoing conditions of economic, political, and other
oppressions. Restoration of health and well being are achieved through actions grounded in collective

Lonesome Dove Analysis
Lonesome Dove is a story in the western genre written by Larry McMurty. The book was published in
1985 and was the first book of a tetralogy, but third in chronology. The book is about a strenuous cattle
drive from Texas to Montana. Lonesome Dove was a wholesome and interesting book that engages
your curiosity from the beginning to the end. In the beginning of the story they are in a small south
Texas town called lonesome Dove, where the two main characters Augustus McCrae and Woodrow
Call had settled down and started a livery stable after being famous Texas rangers. The journey starts
off after Jake Spoon rides into town talking about Montana and the untapped potential. That is what
sets them off on their journey driving cattle from Texas to Montana. As their journey began they had
many dilemmas, but I would say their first dilemma was the death of Sean O Brien a young Irish man
found with his brother Allen O Brien when they collected the cattle for the drive. That part of the story
was the first major event of the story driving fear in many of the crew. As the drive went north, so did
Jake spoon, who brought along a woman by the name of Lorena Wood. Lorena is a major character in
the story as she is a love interest of both Augustus McCrae, Jake Spoon ,and desired by many. The
story had an interesting offshoot that involved a sheriff from fort smith, Arkansas by the name of July
Johnson. This story begins with Jake Spoon who was in fort smith gambling when he got into a

War And The Cold War
Despite the high costs of war both in monetary value and in terms of potential life and infrastructure
lost states and their actors despite their supposed rationality still seek war at times. Sometimes war is
unavoidable given the situations that actors find themselves in. States prior to war will attempt several
options such as bargaining and it is that failure in bargaining that tends to result in conflict or war.
Especially following the events of the Cold War numerous scholars have given their reasons as to why
conflict is sometimes beyond prevention. War is described as an actual widespread and deliberate
armed conflict between political communities. Following the Second World War and the Cold War,
interstate war is mostly rare ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This failure in bargaining is a study on its own. For instance in the process of bargaining many states
find it difficult to trust their rivals because of the potential for incomplete information. Often, actors
will strategically misrepresent information as a means to extract certain demands when actors cannot
reliably trust in who they are bargaining with. This distrust between actors also leads to commitment
problems. In situations when there is a potential power shift and goods could potentially be exchanged
or divided there is concern over what could possibly alter in the future. Power changes such as this can
lead to preventive war or attempts at first strikes which is when one actor might seek action as a
means to prevent war or to have an early advantage. Often the neutrality of outside actors is necessary
for bargaining to succeed or to prevent one side from future exploits. Furthermore, intrastate conflict
which is often ethnic conflict has a greater tie to territory and resources. Things like territory for an
ethnic groups has specific relation to identity likewise for the state territory in the resources that come
for it are their sign of power. This makes territory an indivisible good that cannot be divided unless
one actor suffers a significant loss making war almost inevitable because conflict becomes all or
nothing. However, some literature rebuffs ideas that conflict is unavoidable by presenting evidence of
how actors irrational behavior can be

Differences And Similarities Between The Aztec And Mayan...
Maya and Aztec Comparison Essay
In ancient Mesoamerica, there were two great empires; the Aztec and Mayan Empires. The Mayan
Empire developed in southeastern Mexico, surrounding the Yucatan Peninsula and Sierra Madre
mountains. Similar to the Mayan Empire, the Aztec Empire also developed in Mexico. They spoke
their the Nahuatl language, while the Mayans spoke Hieroglyphics (no exact name). Two civilizations
both used terrace farming and human labor for agriculture. Wars between towns, cities, and empires
did cause two empires to fall, but Mayan Empire mostly fell because of rulers forcing farmers to farm
for them, unlike the Aztecs. Both empires had similarities and differences in many aspects. In terms of

What s more, they all had some sort of volcanic belts. The Aztecs had Iztaccihuatl mountains, located
in the southeastern part of Mexico, and the Mayans had Popocatepetl, also located in the southeastern

Empires. As I mentioned earlier in this paragraph, they all lived in a swampy land. Of course, there
must have been some detriments, but they used their swampy lands as an advantage in agriculture!
Also, two empires used human labor when they were farming. As we learned, Aztecs transported food
and farmed using humans, same with the Mayans. Plus, they used terrace farming as their technique.
Terrace farming, aka terracing , is a type of farming using steps of a mountain or a hill. Believe it or
not, they also had similarities with the fall of them. Leaders poor, catastrophic decisions eventually led
to the decline. If Moctezuma II did not choose to make Cortes and his men stay, Aztec would be still

are more likely to develop mental health disorders during their college years when compared with
other students with disabilities (Hees, Moyson, Roeyers, 2015). Challenges the students with ASD will
face in college include organizational and time management difficulties, lacking self advocacy skills,
sensory overload, and problems meeting academic demands (Hees, Moyson, Roeyers, 2015). It is
important for a primary care provider to provide anticipatory guidance to the adolescent and their
family of what to expect of postsecondary school if that is what they choose for the next step.
A recent study investigated the challenges and support needs of students with ASD in postsecondary
education (Hees, Moyson, Roeyers, 2015). The first challenge the researchers found were that the
students with ASD struggled with the new situations and unexpected changes in college. These
students found it very difficult to oversee the large amount of new information and choices they had to
make. They are leaving behind what is familiar and transitioning into something completely new,
which is not

High School Jacket Narrative
I threw my books on the bed and approached the jacket slowly, as if it were an idol s hand I was dying
to shake. I delicately touched the black leather sleeve, rubbed the collar with silver belts and inspected
the silver belts and cuffs.
The jacket was as black as midnight and silver buckles and straps shiny enough to blind anybody. I
was bursting with pride and love with the jacket when I heard my mother call my name telling me my
jacket is the closet. I carefully approached the closet hoping that the jacket was mine not mine. I
looked in the closet and hoped that my jacket was the one I wanted, not for my mean brother. I found
no jacket and I was flooded with relief and love because that jacket that I wanted probably costed
more than all my possessions put together. The jacket was also big enough to fit me for a couple of

Difference Between Native And Borrowed Words
1. What is the difference between native and borrowed words? Native and borrowed words are
common in every language and especially in English language they have a great role in the dictionary
of every language. English language vocabulary does not seem to have ever been or to be a
homogenous vocabulary since it consists both native words and borrowed words which are quite a lot.
The native words have a wider range of lexical and grammatical valence. Anglo Saxons are the ones
who brought the native words to English language. Borrowing means taking words from other
languages and the whole process of choosing and adopting these words in a specific language being
able to see the results given of the borrowed word, thus these taken words are ... Show more content

Since there do exist different English varieties it is clear that the most important are the American
English and the British English, which are quietly different yet so connected with each other.
Generally, it is agreed that no one version is correct however, there are certainly preferences in use.
However, there are a lot of grammatical differences between these two, which sometimes cannot be
identified by English speaking peoples unless they are very meticulous or linguistics to understand
them, but also the native speaker of both these varieties can easily detect these grammar differences.
They are present in pronunciation differences in both consonants and vowels, in intonation and word
stressing; also differences are in vocabulary, in verbs, nouns, phrasal verbs and also using names of
items or tools. The main difference can be seen in spelling where a general difference is in the usage
of prefix and suffix. Also differences are seen in the use of auxiliary verbs, past tense verbs, tag
questions etc... So the British and American English have more similarities than

How The Mythological Creatures In Harry Potter And The...
(insert good introduction here). Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a good fantasy because it has

essay explores how the topic of trauma and memory is addressed in Why Rape and Trauma Survivors

affect the admissibility of victim narratives in court, while the Memory article uses Interpretive

GMO Argument Essay
GMO crops have been a controversial topic for many years, whether if they are morally right or if they
are dangerous for consumption. Although GMO s are typically frowned upon in developed countries,
they have potentially life saving capabilities and should be used in underdeveloped or developing
locations throughout the world, like Africa, to support their growing economies and populations. To
start, a genetically modified organism (GMO) or crop, is an organism that has had its genetic makeup
or material altered through means of genetic engineering. There are many differentiating opinions of
GMOs and if they should be utilized or not. Recent attempts to label GMO products have shown
congress is making a half hearted effort to preclude a proliferation of ill informed and costly state
labeling laws that would benefit the organic food industry by ignoring sound science and instilling ...

Their environmental impacts have been shown repeatedly to be less damaging to the environment, and
a boon to global biodiversity (Mckinney). One example of something similar to GMO technology in
the past would have to be the green revolution. The green revolution occurred in the 1940 s and began
when food was not able to keep up with the population growth of countries. One example in Mexico
during this time talks about how one man, Norman Borlaug, developed new techniques for growing
and developing crops (Genetically). Yes it is true that he didn t genetically engineer the plants then,
but he did selectively crossbreed and harvest specific plants with specific DNA in order to achieve
more drought resistant, and pest resistant crops (Genetically). Although the green revolution didn t
utilize GMO technology they still pioneered a new era of crop growth and development. The same
thing can be said for the biological engineers of today, and how they are striving to make crops better

The Link Between Nazi Propaganda And The Holocaust Essay
Hitler believed that propaganda from the allies was the main reason that the Germans lost during
World War I and felt that this form of warfare needed to be a primary tool in modern warfare. He
spoke of this belief in his book Mein Kampf well before the start of the second World War. Hitler felt
that the public needed to be inundated with the ideology of the state at all times and through all
mediums (Jowett and O Donnell 2). To do this, he said everything from child s story book to the last
newspaper, every theater, every cinema and every advertisement must be brought into the service of
this single mission (qt. in Qualter ix). This onslaught of propaganda led to the Holocaust by leaving no
other option open to the German people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Nazi s did use propaganda in this negative sense but in an underhanded and subversive way. They
backed up all their false reports with scientific studies and claims of a better human race.
Propaganda is hard to define as most definitions do not cover the full meaning of the word. The
Webster s Illustrated Encyclopedic Dictionary defines propaganda as the systematic propagation or
discrediting of a given doctrine or cause by circulation of polemical material, such as posters and
leaflets (1353). However, this definition does not cover the full scope of the of the word. Terence
Qualter also feels the definition for propaganda needs to be more refined for its new usage. The
definition that he gives is the deliberate attempt...(to) form, control, or alter the attitudes of other
groups...(with) the use of the instruments of communication (27 28). He goes on to say that the
propaganda must be aimed at the group in general because that is the basic nature of the word, in that
the most effective propaganda is the propaganda which has a large audience. Qualter does mention,
however, that there need be no difference in the propaganda to persuade one and the propaganda to
persuade the many (28). Germany did this by controlling the flow of information into the country.

The Importance Of Life In Victorian London
Victorian London was a charnel house of the dead; a city oozing horror and nowhere more so than a
small chapel where they danced on the dead.
By 1842 London was the modern mega city of the world. For some of her 2.5 million inhabitants it
was an exciting, fashionable and thriving metropolis. For many it was a city of squalor, decay,
epidemics and early death and the disposal of the dead was becoming an increasing problem for the
living.
London s population had exploded but the authorities did not plan for the increasing numbers of the
dead. Burial grounds and churchyards were filled beyond capacity with coffins stacked on top of each
other in deep shafts. Open graves sat just feet from the living world. The dead lay amongst the living

starting exhuming the dead, moving the remains to the new Norwood Cemetery. This process became
another spectacle for Londoners who gathered to stare at the pyramid of bones...exposed to view 4.
Enon Chapel was not the only place where such practices occurred, but it was the most notorious and
provided useful propaganda horror for reform campaigners such as Walker. The government finally
responded to the pressure, passing the Burial Act in 1852 that closed burial grounds in the city. It
paved the way to the development of the great Victorian cemeteries of Highgate, Nunhead and Kensal
Green.
Clements Lane has become St. Clements Lane but the chapel is long gone, demolished for
development. The present site is now home to the London School of Economics and the Law Courts.

The Impact Of Employee Motivation On Organizational...
Employee Motivation Motivation of employees plays a crucial factor in determining their
performance with regard to productivity and engagement in their respective duties. Actually,
employees who are adequately motivated tend to enhance their performance, be more productive, feel
more satisfied, and be more engaged in their work. Managers should take responsibility to enhance
their employees in order to enhance their contributions to the organization or company resulting in
increased productivity. The significance of employee motivation to organizational productivity is
linked to the widely accepted belief that motivation is the basic driver of human behavior. The
significance of motivation in driving human behavior has contributed to the development of various
theories of motivation, which are mostly applied in real life organizations or businesses. The
application of these theories has considerable effects on organizational productivity, employee
turnover, and employee satisfaction.
The Concept of Employee Motivation Motivation can be described as a psychological process that
influences individuals choices about work related behaviors. While managers tend to consider
employee motivation as the desire to work, this concept refers to a general procedure that has
considerable effects on nearly all behaviors. This is primarily because the concept of employee
motivation is based on the principle that the resultant behavior is carried out in order to generate

The Moon is Down by John Steinbeck Essay
Throughout The Moon is Down by John Steinbeck, a controversial debate upon whether or not the
novel is successful in praising the ideals of democracy and free choice occurs. Some readers claim this
is not possible because the invaders are portrayed as sympathetic characters but I refuse to agree with
this argument. Throughout the book, I saw evidence to support the fact that the novel is successful in
praising democracy and free choice such as the inability for the invaders to take away the townspeople
s personal actions, the importance of the individual, an idea upon which democracy is founded but
also the pain that occurs when freedom is taken away. Many people argue that The Moon is Down is

Molly Morden was a victim of the invader s iron fist but she was also trapped within the town, her
freedoms restricted. She proved that freedom, limited as it was, still existed when she killed
Lieutenant Tonder, revealing that free choice was successfully shown.
The popular novel by John Steinbeck is successful in praising the ideals of democracy and free choice
because it reveals the importance of the individual, an idea upon which democracy is formed. Alex
Morden states, I m not sorry. He told me to go to work me, a free man! I used to be alderman. He said
I had to work. (p 53) Alex was the man who sparked the fire within the townspeople s hearts. His
freedom as an individual was taken away and because of this he killed Captain Bentick, providing him
with a death sentence. When Alex died, a rebellion began to grow, his death the catalyst to regain the
townspeople s freedom. As Alex is a symbol to the rebellion, the individual is the symbol for
democracy. Without freedom, you have no satisfaction that a democracy grants. When the invaders no
longer ran under the pretense of democracy and killed Alex, the rebellion began to grow into a raging
fight for freedom, proving that the ideal of democracy is successful.
The Moon is Down is successful in its ideals because it shows the pain that occurs when freedom is
taken away. Molly Morden states, I don t know why they let him come home. He was confused. He

Freedom Of Speech In Political Cartoons
The editorial, weaponized words written by Kate Manne and Jason Stanley is a cry for help in the
world of politics, which argues that the freedom of speech laws allow for the voices of dominant
social groups to overpower those that are inferior. This opinion is also shown in the third political
cartoon provided, that shows two different social groups under the same freedom of speech umbrella,
who have to deal with each other constantly trying to oppress the other. These laws make it hard for
any advancement of the lower class societies.
The belief that the freedom of speech laws, or the first amendment, need to be more concrete can be
seen in the first political cartoon. This cartoon shows, again, two rival social groups, both are equals,
however one of the social groups is using their freedom of speech in a improper way, and they are not
being punished or prohibited in any way. This shows the oppression of a certain social group that is
not being stopped. Much like in the editorial, which states that Yale students are being pressured into
not wearing certain halloween costumes because they offend others , the cartoon shows the use of ...

Based on the most recent annual report published by the World Tourism Organization, over one billion
people travel around the world and the number continues to grow every year. In the year 2013, a 5%
growth is shown and it is expected to increase in the following years. While such growth has produced
benefits such as employments, business opportunities, and increased revenues from exports and
services, mass tourism is often questioned because of its contribution to negative impacts to the travel
destinations in their economic, social, cultural, and physical environment ( Why Tourism, 2015).
Depending on the intensity of traveler site use, the destination can easily ran out of the facilitation and
resources necessary to accommodate the travelers, and let alone the local residents. In order to fulfill
the increased traveler demands, developers will have to construct more hotels and facilities, which
may involve buying lands and getting additional resources. In doing so, the developers may over
exploit the very environment that attracts travelers and change the destination s character. They can
transform the natural environment into an artificial attraction and this may not only impact the daily
lives of the local, but also the economy and unique culture of the destination.
According to Sustainable Travel International, the issues that

BitTorrent, a nightmare for copyright enforcement agencies Using BitTorrent has become a popular
and effective way of downloading files over the internet. BitTorrent is a peer to peer file sharing (P2P)
internet protocol that allows files to be distributed via an internet connection. The use of BitTorrent
itself is a perfectly legal and legitimate process of downloading certain files. For example, if someone
wanted to obtain a large free to use file like a Linux distribution, BitTorrent provides a fast and

Blizzard who use custom BitTorrent clients to distribute and update their games to avoid overloading

A swarm is a group of computers that all have the desired torrent file available for downloading.
Computers enter the swarm by accessing a torrent file (file extension is generally .torrent) via a torrent
client such as BitTorrent, uTorrent, Vuze, Transmission, or many others. Trackers are located inside
torrent files that keep track of connected computers. The tracker communicates with the other
computers in the swarm and shares their corresponding IP addresses with everyone in the swarm so
the computers can connect to one another. The tracker does not handle any of the data being
transmitted, it merely provides a medium for the computers to keep track of which computers are in
the swarm. In other words, when an individual wants to download a file, first they download a torrent
file and access it via a client that contains a tracker allowing them to download the file from not one
but many people at one time. The actual file being transferred is not transferred as one large file, but is
broken down into many pieces when it is downloaded. After a computer has downloaded a piece of
the file, they are then able to upload that piece to others in the swarm. Thus, computers in the swarm
are downloading and uploading to and from each other simultaneously. Once the computer has all the
pieces of the file, the client then assembles the pieces so the file is operable. BitTorrent clients can

In modern society it is a fundamental right not to be discriminated against based on race, ethnicity and
gender. This situation deprived the storeowner of his personal liberty subjecting him to social
injustice. The storeowner has not forfeited his legal rights by giving them up freely; he has been
unjustly deprived of them.
Further, the storeowner has been robbed of his moral rights also. A moral right is something that goes
beyond the law. If the law does not encompass someone s legal interests, it is considered a moral right.
Any owner of a store has the ability to withhold a transaction based on their personal discretion.
However, the transaction is only withheld because of his race this is an obvious intrusion of his moral

which can be harmful since it ultimately leads to a blockage in recognizing the world s wonders. It is
why Ibsen emphasizes that when comfort is the chief concern of the home s foundation, the home

The main characters, Nora and Torvald, find themselves in a bind when that s all they tend to do, more
so Torvald towards Nora. Either way, Torvald s thoughts on how he should control Nora, negatively
affect Nora. However, it is because of her deep awakening that she comes to terms with herself on
how her life should actually be. Torvald stunted Nora s growth throughout their whole marriage and
now it s Nora s job to switch that around, which is exactly what she does. Every relationship should be
based on strengthening their partner and motivating them to do so much better in any sense so that
both could become wise and experienced together, not the other way

The agricultural expansion followed by economic expansion in the region were the main factors of
creation of the new working places and thus the reason to migrate to these countries.
After second World Word, Europe fell into vigorous economic transformation that started in the
nothnern and western states and later spred to southern Europe. These transformations had impact on
migrations of the population. People decide to stay in their home country instead of migrating to the
new one. In the same time the gap between degre of socio economic development of the European
nations and that of the South American countries was widening. The impact of whole this
transformation was that migraton to the South America decreased and people prefered to move back to
the old continent.
After all we can distinguish Historical migration patterns of South America to three significant
periods:
1. until 1950, the countries of the entire South America continent were destinations for European
immigrants as was mentioned mainly from Southern part of the old continent.
2. starting around 1960 the significant part of the migrants came from countries of South america, they
move especially to the developed countries such as United States, Canada and Spain are.

Joseph Stalin A Dictator Analysis
The man with a microphone in his hand, perspiration standing out on his forehead, passed his tongue
over his lips. He was fired up, there was no question about it, and he was getting solid rounds of
applause, but his dissenters were far from giving up. A soda can hit the concrete near his feet, spinning
where it lay in front of the speaker. He tapped it aside, never once pausing in his oratory.
Storm sat under the stone arch among the audience. A trickle of sweat ran under his shirt. He looked
down at the jeans and sneakers he wore. Most of those around him had on shorts and T shirts and flip
flops on their feet. Casual, comfortable clothing for warm campus days.
The hecklers in the audience seemed to be dressed like he was. There was something ... Show more

An excellent point you raise. Knowing your history is vital to understand what is happening today.
Stalin s bureaucracy was a betrayal of the workers revolution. Stalin was a nationalist and a dictator
Another can struck the steps behind the speaker. Two of his supporters stood and peered worriedly
into the crowd. For the second time in the same day, Storm felt the threat of violence hanging heavy in
the air. He turned at the sound of a dog s bark to see the dark snout of a large German Shepherd
straining at its leash.
A whistle pierced the air as the police made their way rapidly through the crowd. Two thickset men
wearing jeans confronted the uniforms. Pushing and shoving, but they found themselves thrown hard
to the ground and handcuffed. Storm got up and made his way through the arch and down a stone wall
corridor, hoping to find a way into the building. A large policeman in full protective armor, a helmet
over his head and a baton in his hand, stepped from between the columns, blocking his way. On the
other side of the columns, Storm saw the black trucks of the riot squad. Beside them was a white bus
with metal grids over the windows. The sides bore the same company logo he had seen on the armored
van passed him in the street earlier in the

Public Services Case Study
People often behave differently when their anger has been evoked, which can be quite negative in
particular circumstances. A quick decision made during a fit of rage can have an enduring impact on
your life, and its often not a good one.
Many public sector jobs are highly demanding and a higher level of self control and customer service
skills are likely required. For instance, police officers and restaurant servers work with the public.
These average citizens can be tested by unexpected situations that place both their patience and
character in the hot seat. Examined below is an event that occurred just a few years back in the sector
of public transportation.

Allegedly, the TTC driver believed that the fare paid by this particular student wasn t correct, due to
the student s age. It s alleged that the student s head was pressed against a glass window, and it broke.
The exact manner of how the window broke was unclear in the initial reports regarding the incident.
The constable who was the police representative that investigated the event made note that the victim
s neck and head injuries appeared to be quite minor. However, the victim chose to gain the services of
a lawyer, who s specialty was personal injury. His lawyer advised him to visit the hospital to acquire a
medical exam.
This was, of course, the smartest choice the victim could have made, as the steps taken by him in the
aftermath of his assault befitted him greatly in resolving his case. It s not the job of the police or
witnesses to gauge the nature of an attack. Multiple people tend to minimize their injuries as a matter
that they can handle on their own, a grievous mistake that can result in more serious injury later while
simultaneously damaging a victim s chances of being compensated in a manner consistent with the
full extent of their

Introduction of Malaysia Bond Market
INTRODUCTION
1.1 WHAT IS BOND?
In finance, a bond is an instrument of indebtedness of the bond issuer to the holders. It is a debt
security, under which the issuer owes the holders a debt and, depending on the terms of the bond, is
obliged to pay them interest (the coupon) and/or to repay the principal at a later date, termed the
maturity. Interest is usually payable at fixed intervals (semi annual, annual, and sometimes monthly).
Very often the bond is negotiable, i.e. the ownership of the instrument can be transferred in the
secondary market.
Thus a bond is a form of loan or IOU: the holder of the bond is the lender (creditor), the issuer of the
bond is the borrower (debtor), and the coupon is the interest. Bonds provide the ... Show more content

More importantly, Malaysia, among the key Islamic financial centres, offers a wide variety of Islamic
bonds that are based on Shariah compliant concept. As at end Dec 2010, Islamic bonds accounted for
39% of total bond outstanding.
1.3 BOND MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN MALAYSIA * With the shift in public policy in the
1980s to consolidate public sector activities and promote the private sector as the engine of growth, a
new financing pattern emerged. With this transformation of the economy, the decline of public sector
borrowing was compensated by an increase in financing by the private sector. The private sector has
relied on the banking system for its financing needs, of which a large portion was intermediated
through the banking system the ratio of bank credit to gross domestic product (GDP) in Malaysia was
high at 149% in 1997. Nevertheless, the ratio of bank deposits to GDP was also high at 154% and
therefore banks were able to finance their lending operations from their deposits. * As the banking
sector was heavily exposed to the economic crisis that struck the nation in 1997, it was very cautious
in extending new credits. In the post crisis period, loan growth was low; for example in 1998 and
1999, growth was less than the target of 8% proposed by the government. * The malignancy of the
Asian financial turmoil was derived from the externally driven currency crisis with the internally
induced banking crisis. In other

Knowledge In The Giver
One of the most powerful abstract in the world is knowledge. It can change people s decisions and the
way they look at other people and how they view life. In the novel, The Giver, by Lois Lowry, the
author makes it clear that knowledge has the power to change dreams, opinions, and fears.
Knowledge has the power to change people s dreams. For example, There s much more. There s all
that goes beyond all that is Elsewhere and all that goes back, and back, and back. I received all of
those, when I was selected. And here in this room, all alone, I re experience them again and again. It is
how wisdom comes. And how we shape our future (71). Jonas and The Giver know that Elsewhere is
a very important place. This is important because Jonas and the giver have a dream of making a plan
for Jonas to go to Elsewhere to release the memories to the community, which they eventually do. The
Giver also dreams of having his daughter back. You can understand then, that that s what I felt for ...

The Giver shows a video to Jonas and his opinion on his Father changes. He killed it! My father killed
it! Jonas said to himself, stunned at what he was realizing (188). Jonas and The Giver were talking
about what release really is and The Giver insisted on showing him a video of that morning s release.
Jonas saw his father kill a little baby and realizing that when people are released, it means that they
are killed. This is important because the only people that can understand death are Jonas and The
Giver. One day, The Giver showed Jonas a memory of love. He felt such love for Asher and for Fiona.
But they could not feel it back without the memories. And he could not give them those (135). After
receiving the memory and knowing what love is, Jonas realizes that he loves his two friends Asher and
Fiona. This is important because love is such a strong feeling and everyone in the community says that

Nursing Home Abuse Essay
Although it does not usually make news headlines and is rarely discussed, nursing home residents and
the elderly experience abuse sometimes on a daily basis. Medical errors, physical abuse, or stealing
from them could all be classified as abuse. All around the world today, a population that is not able to
help itself is being harmed, whether it is physical or sexual abuse, exploitation, or not being properly
supervised; the elderly and nursing home residents are being abused.
Types of Abuse There are many types of abuse that occur in nursing homes, even though many do not
even realize what all could be classified as abuse. When hearing abuse what is probably most thought

Over all, there are many types of abuse, from physical abuse to rough living conditions, that elderly
and nursing home residents experience quite often.
Statistics
Anyone can abuse a nursing home resident from their nurses to their own family members. There has
only one been national study to try to explain who abuses residents more, according to the
NCEA(2011), and at approximately 90% of them were abused by family members. Just as well abuse
can occur anywhere from their own houses to nursing homes. According to a study from 2000, 2,000
residents were polled and 44% of them stated they had been abused. Other research from the NCEA
states that persons with dementia are at a much higher risk for abuse. A study that had been conducted
in 2010 revealed that 47% of elderly with dementia had been abused. Abuse definitely takes an impact
on these people. Statistics, again from NCEA, have shown that elders who have been abused have a
300% higher risk of death over those not abused. They also have many more psychological and
medical problems than a non abused person.
Cases of Abuse There are have been many cases of nursing home and elder abuse nation wide and all
around the world. One case that occurred in Baltimore, Maryland that involved a man who worked in
a long term care facility and hit one of his residents.(Lee, 2013) This resident was an 84 year old man.

Although the rights of women have changed over the years, they have never really been equal to the rights of a man. This poses a threat on Iran because women have very limited options when it comes to labor, marriage and other aspects of their culture. I believe that equal treatment for women and men is a fundamental principal of international human rights standards. Yet, in some places like Iran, discriminatory practices against women are not only prevalent, but in some cases, required by law. Business Process Redesign or Reengineering Business Process Redesign or Reengineering Business Process Redesign (BPR) or Reengineering is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of performance, such as cost, quality, service, and speed (Hammer and Champy, Reengineering). Since the BPR idea has surfaced it has been under constant ridicule by the popular press. They say it takes far too long, creates management headaches, fails 70% of the time, and it s only for big companies with big checkbooks (Hydrel...). This move, however, caused a bit of turmoil in the whole process due to he fact that, many employees weren t use to works in groups. • 6. The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ When it comes to the resurrection of Jesus Christ there are many different theories on what actually happened. As Christians we believe what is said in the Bible, but sometimes our minds cannot help but wonder what if . The legitimacy of the Bible regarding the resurrection of Jesus has been questioned time and again, what most do not realize is, there is proof that Jesus rose from the grave. With the empty tomb, eyewitnesses and the changed lives of the Disciples, we are able to prove that the resurrection of Jesus did indeed happened. The empty tomb could quite honestly be the strongest proof that Jesus resurrected from his grave. Even Roman and Jewish tradition admits to the empty tomb. When Jesus was found by the women to be resurrected the disciples did not go off to a far land to preach where it could have been easy to lie about it. They went and preached in Jerusalem where Jesus died and was buried. It was easy for everyone to go and verify that Jesus was indeed actually gone. If Jesus was still there in the tomb, no one would have believed them. Paul Althaus writes, the resurrection proclamation could not have been maintained in Jerusalem for a single day, for a single hour, if the emptiness of the tomb had not been established as a fact for all concerned. Even with all of this there are still a few theories that deny this. Some believe that they simply went to the wrong tomb. Hormones according to www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/nature/etc/hormones can influence the function of the immune system and alter one s behavior. These chemical signals are the reason for many factor including why one s arms are the same length, why one can turn food into a viable fuel, and why one grows through puberty. Hormones are indicative of changes in target cells by binding to hormone receptors. In this way, even though hormones circulate throughout the body and meet different cell types, they only affect cells that possess the necessary receptors. Receptors of a specific hormone can be found on different cells or a small number of specialized cells. Per www.pbs.com/ the thyroid hormones act on different tissue types, stimulating metabolic activity throughout the body. Cells can have receptors for the identical hormone, but often also possess receptors for different types of hormones. The number of receptors that respond to a hormone determines the cell s sensitivity to a specific hormone. The number of receptors that respond to a hormone can change over time, resulting in increasing or decreasing the cell s sensitivity. Often in up regulation, the number of receptors increases to rising hormone levels, making the cell more sensitive to the hormone. Down regulation describes when a cell is decreasing the quantity of a cellular component. When the cells respond to a hormone, they express a specific receptor for that specific hormone. The hormone binds to the receptor protein, resulting in the activation of a mechanism that ultimately leads to cell type specific responses. Receptor binding alters cellular activity, resulting in an increase or decrease in normal body processes. • 11. Pros And Cons Of Independence Movements Independence movements have occurred across the globe as long as countries have existed. Stronger and more developed countries frequently attempt to grow their empires through means of colonization or imperialism which leave long lasting effects on nations and generations to come. The two nations that I have chosen to compare and contrast with regards to independence movements are Morocco and Brazil. Each country experienced pros and cons during the time they were under the control of different nations and each was able to establish independence after growing pains and frustrations occurred. Analysis Although both countries, Morocco and Brazil, were products of European imperialism, they each encountered very different experiences. Morocco was a French protectorate between the years of 1912 and 1955. When nearby countries experienced economic weakness and crises, they succumbed to rule by the British, Turkish or French. Morocco was able to avoid exterior control until rivalries between European nations started increasing until inevitably, France stepped in. Morocco had previously been independent for over 1,000 years and had openly accepted influences from Muslin Iberia as well as the Ottoman Empire. France had expressed interest in Morocco as early as 1830 as the country was deemed advantageous geographically, and Portugal was gaining protectorates and control of the Atlantic coast of Africa. An Investigation Based On The Arrhenius Law INTRODUCTION This investigation is based on the Arrhenius law, A formula created by Professor Svante Arrhenius that combines the Boltzmann distribution law with the concept of activation energy (Stephen Lower 2011a) to depict one of the most important relationships between temperature and rate of reaction in chemistry to date. In the formula, K = e ≈ 2.71828 A = Arrhenius constant = Activation Energy RT = Average kinetic energy (Universal gas constant × Temperature in Kelvins) In this experiment, the main focus is placed on the Arrhenius plot, which is derived through the manipulation of the Arrhenius equation to remove its exponential form by taking the natural log of both sides of the equation which forms lnk=lnA E_A/RT A ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This topic appealed to me, as it seemed like a sound concept in theory, but could not find any discussion based on using the Arrhenius plot for physical processes. BACKGROUND INFORMATION 2.1 Sublimation; an endothermic process Sublimation is the term describing the transition of a substance from the solid phase to the gas phase without passing through an intermediary liquid phase. (Anne Marie Helmenstine 2014a) It is a physical change of state, which occurs at temperatures and pressures below the triple point of the substance, the point where the temperature and pressure causes the 3 phases: solid, liquid and vapour, of a single component system to be in equilibrium. (Blackwell Scientific Publications Oxford 1997) This definition shows that sublimation is a purely physical process; so a substance does not undergo a chemical reaction during sublimation. This diagram represents a typical endothermic reaction: Fig. 2: Endothermic reaction enthalpy change (hferrier n.d.) As displayed in figure 2, a substance requires kinetic energy greater or equal to its activation energy in order for it to change from its initial form to its product. The activation energy shown is one of the pathways that a reaction takes with respect to the pressure that it is subjected to. Consider that for a substance to change from its solid phase to its gas phase the bonds are all fixed in a position and when the particles have enough energy, they are able to ... The book is about a strenuous cattle drive from Texas to Montana. Lonesome Dove was a wholesome and interesting book that engages your curiosity from the beginning to the end. In the beginning of the story they are in a small south Texas town called lonesome Dove, where the two main characters Augustus McCrae and Woodrow Call had settled down and started a livery stable after being famous Texas rangers. The journey starts off after Jake Spoon rides into town talking about Montana and the untapped potential. That is what sets them off on their journey driving cattle from Texas to Montana. As their journey began they had many dilemmas, but I would say their first dilemma was the death of Sean O Brien a young Irish man found with his brother Allen O Brien when they collected the cattle for the drive. That part of the story was the first major event of the story driving fear in many of the crew. As the drive went north, so did Jake spoon, who brought along a woman by the name of Lorena Wood. War And The Cold War Despite the high costs of war both in monetary value and in terms of potential life and infrastructure lost states and their actors despite their supposed rationality still seek war at times. Sometimes war is unavoidable given the situations that actors find themselves in. States prior to war will attempt several options such as bargaining and it is that failure in bargaining that tends to result in conflict or war. Especially following the events of the Cold War numerous scholars have given their reasons as to why conflict is sometimes beyond prevention. War is described as an actual widespread and deliberate armed conflict between political communities. Following the Second World War and the Cold War, interstate war is mostly rare ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This failure in bargaining is a study on its own. For instance in the process of bargaining many states find it difficult to trust their rivals because of the potential for incomplete information. Often, actors will strategically misrepresent information as a means to extract certain demands when actors cannot reliably trust in who they are bargaining with. This distrust between actors also leads to commitment problems. In situations when there is a potential power shift and goods could potentially be exchanged or divided there is concern over what could possibly alter in the future. Power changes such as this can lead to preventive war or attempts at first strikes which is when one actor might seek action as a means to prevent war or to have an early advantage. Often the neutrality of outside actors is necessary for bargaining to succeed or to prevent one side from future exploits. Furthermore, intrastate conflict which is often ethnic conflict has a greater tie to territory and resources. Things like territory for an ethnic groups has specific relation to identity likewise for the state territory in the resources that come for it are their sign of power. This makes territory an indivisible good that cannot be divided unless one actor suffers a significant loss making war almost inevitable because conflict becomes all or nothing. Not just these two, but there were many volcanic belts in the ancient Aztec and Mayan Empires. As I mentioned earlier in this paragraph, they all lived in a swampy land. Of course, there must have been some detriments, but they used their swampy lands as an advantage in agriculture! Also, two empires used human labor when they were farming. As we learned, Aztecs transported food and farmed using humans, same with the Mayans. Plus, they used terrace farming as their technique. Terrace farming, aka terracing , is a type of farming using steps of a mountain or a hill. Believe it or not, they also had similarities with the fall of them. Consistently throughout the movie we see his legal rights and moral rights considered invalid because of his race. In Daniel s first appearance, he is fixing someone s lock. A quick decision made during a fit of rage can have an enduring impact on your life, and its often not a good one. Many public sector jobs are highly demanding and a higher level of self control and customer service skills are likely required. For instance, police officers and restaurant servers work with the public. These average citizens can be tested by unexpected situations that place both their patience and character in the hot seat. It s alleged that the student s head was pressed against a glass window, and it broke. The exact manner of how the window broke was unclear in the initial reports regarding the incident. The constable who was the police representative that investigated the event made note that the victim s neck and head injuries appeared to be quite minor. However, the victim chose to gain the services of a lawyer, who s specialty was personal injury. His lawyer advised him to visit the hospital to acquire a medical exam. This was, of course, the smartest choice the victim could have made, as the steps taken by him in the aftermath of his assault befitted him greatly in resolving his case. Interest is usually payable at fixed intervals (semi annual, annual, and sometimes monthly). Very often the bond is negotiable, i.e. the ownership of the instrument can be transferred in the secondary market. Thus a bond is a form of loan or IOU: the holder of the bond is the lender (creditor), the issuer of the bond is the borrower (debtor), and the coupon is the interest. Bonds provide the ...
