Essay on Edvard Munch
Edvard Munch is regarded as the pioneer of the Expressionist movement in modern painting. At an
early stage Munch was recognised in Germany and central Europe as one of the creators of a new and
different movement of art, that helped artists to express their feelings about all the social change that
was happening around them.
Munch was born in 1863, and before long he had come to know the intensity of emotional pain. His
father was a doctor who often bought patients to the Munch home. His mother died when Edvard was
five years old, his older sister died of disease at the age of fifteen, and Edvard himself was often ill.
One of his youngest sisters was also diagnosed with a mental illness at an early age. With death and
illness as a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The woman is depicted as a creature of temptation, a selfish enslaver of men. She embraces the man,
and appears to be sucking the life out of him.
Edvard wrote of the inspiration of the painting in his diary. The paintings showed emotion that had
never been expressed so openly through art before. This painting is laced with hidden meanings, the
faceless clock represents the uncertainty of the artists time left, the bed represents death, the placement
of the figure between these two pieces symbolises the decisions and issues he is experiencing. The
painting depicts a horse pulling a cart, which appears to be dangerously out of control. The body is
distorted, twisted and disfigured with terror.
Edvard Munch s The Scream was painted around the end of the 19th century, and is possibly the first
Expressionist painting. The Scream was very different from the art of its time. During this time artists
tried to paint realistic paintings. Munch was a tortured soul, and it certainly showed in this painting.
Most of his family had died, and he was often plagued by sickness. The Scream was a reflection of
what was going on at the time, and what was going on in Munch s own mind
It seemed to me that I could hear the scream. I painted this picture; painted the clouds as real blood.
The colors screamed (Preble 52). Some people, when they look at this painting, only see

Investment Team Project
YMJ Investment Final Project
Throughout the semester we really had to watch the markets in order to obtain a successful portfolio.
The way we approached this task was through constant watching of the securities market to find out
current trends as well as picking up stocks we thought were undervalued at that time. The latter, of
course, applies to our managed portfolio, where we were able to select stocks we deemed were good
investments. We observed that this specific portfolio gave us more stable returns, which we attributed
to the lower betas of these stocks. One can also conclude that the worst performers of the same
portfolio were due the same cause. Based on the returns of our managed portfolio, one can conclude

CVS Caremark Corp: Clearly, we got this one right and it was our best investment. We thought this
was a safe stock to purchase because it was a top 20 company in the 2013 Fortune 500 list as well as
operating in an industry that has been in great demand by the American population as it is aging
rapidly. Another conclusion that we arrived while discussing the possible purchases was that the
company operates only in the US, so it had a great opportunity to seize the market of overweight
Americans who suffer from several diseases related to this problem, and have to buy one or several
medications at times.
Colgate Palmolive Co: This was another good investment in our opinion. The company had a low beta
at the time of the purchase and has been having a steady growth lately, which we thought would be
good component for our portfolio to hedge against stocks that held greater risk. Although the company
has been known to harm the environment by consuming high levels of palm oil, we believed that this
fact would not interfere with the growth potential of the company as the numbers indicated that it was
a reliable investment.

Team Cohesion
Groups, teams, and organizations are dynamic (not static), exhibit life and vitality, interaction, and
activity; and consist of a collection of two or more individuals that possess a common identity, pursue
common goals and objectives, share a common fate, and interact through structured patterns and
modes of communication (Eys, Burke, Dennis, Evans, 2015).
Cohesion is reflected in the group s tendency to stick together and remain united as they pursue a
common set of goals and objectives that satisfy each member s affective (e.g., moods, feelings, and
attitudes) needs (Eys et al., 2015).
As validated by research studies, team cohesion, a dynamic process reflected in a team s bond and
unity to achieve a goal, is an important psychological factor affecting athletic performance (i.e., as
team cohesion increases, so does performance and success) (Kim, Park, Kim, 2017). Groups are

Competitive Advantage Of New Belgium Brewing Company
Competitive advantage is important in any company s market structure. A good example of
competitive advantage is when a customer asks why he or she should purchase this product over the
company s competitor s product (Lambardo, 2017). For a company to obtain a substantial competitive
advantage, a company has to gain a customer base that trusts their products over their competition s
product. For example, in the beer industry, Anheuser Busch has created beer products that obtain a
strong competitive advantage over their competitors. Budweiser was able to create this competitive
advantage because they obtained a strong market structure. Also, there is a huge relation between
company brand and competitive advantage (Abbas Kraidy, 2017). For New Belgium brewing

The Great Plains Essay
Have you ever been in a place of green with forests and animals everywhere? Well, where some of the
Native Americans lived, there were such things. Native American tribes such as the Crow lived in the
Great Plains. The Crow tribe of the Great Plains were nomadic and followed the buffalo migrations
which provided their food. This tribe spent a good part of the year living in camps that could easily be
dismantled and moved to follow the buffalo migrations. Other tribes of the plains were more
sedentary. These tribes lived in permanent villages year round. The Great Plains are located between
the South and Midwest regions to the east and the Rocky Mountains to the west. The Great Plains
Indians were dictated by climate, land, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most of the Native American Crow tribe members had died out because of low food supply or
fighting. But, most of the time the Native American tribes in the Grassy Plains did not have wars to
the death or extermination of a tribe. In the past time most tribes died but some survived and they
changed their way of life. For example, the Crow tribes may have set traps for animals rather than
sending out groups and risking village population. Some tribes may have become extinct because of
other villages raiding them and taking their land. Another reason for tribe extinction was disease after
the white invasion because the whites were exposed to and are immune to many diseases that the
Native Americans aren t. Therefore, many Native Americans have gotten sick and tribes have been
wiped out because of that.

My Life At The Market
When we arrived at the market it was blistering hot. I had on a blue and white tank top, some rugged
shorts, and some flip flops. My family and I decided they wanted to go shopping; my family consisted
of my cousin, grandma, my mom, and me. My aunt s birthday was coming up and my cousin, wanted
to get her something nice.
I think I should buy my mom a chain for her birthday since, it s coming up. I have this beautiful
Minnie Mouse charm and I just need a chain, my cousin pleaded. If we see a jewelry store we ll see if
we can find you one, my mom stated. The market was big, there was a whole bunch of stores crowded
together and a narrow walkway in the middle. I found a jewelry store three spaces down from the

Well let s see what we got here, the owner said. He went around the big table in the middle of the
room. Opened one of the glass cases on the wall and pulled out a black, round, necklace holder. There
were all different sorts of chains hanging from the stand gold, silver, long, short, and even rose gold.
He sat the chains on the table. He was across from us on the other side of the table, with a nice
friendly grin on his joyful face and I had my poker face on. Here are some chains that we have, we all
took a look at the chains.
I m looking for a silver chain, my cousin explained. The owner puts the stand back and went under the
counter of the glass cases to the far back wall. He pulled out a stand with all silver chains.
Here you go, he exclaimed. We looked carefully at the chains. My cousin wanted a chain not too big
but, not too small. She finally narrowed her search down to two pretty chains the right size for her.
I like these two, she said. The owner laid the two chains on the table. I m the only one who was smart
enough to look at the price tag. One was $250 and the other one was $300.

A Case Study of the Marketing Strategies of Aldus Corporation
Introduction In this short paper, this author will look at the Aldus Corporation and the company s
marketing manager, Richard Strong. Despite the riskiness of the proposal, he correctly identified some
foreseeable problems that required a shift in the company s market positioning strategy. In this short
essay, we will examine this positioning strategy in detail as well as the other marketing issues at
Aldus. As well will see in this study, while the plan was necessary due to the upcoming saturation of
the existing market for professionals, the situation on the ground in the company was not geared
favorably in a structural manner to facilitate the proposed transition. Had more knowledge been
available of this, modifications to the plan could have made the transition much smoother. Luckily
enough, Apple came to the rescue for Aldus in pairing up on some of the responsibility for helping
with the market repositioning. Positioning Strategy at Aldus Marketing is very dynamic and strong
leaders must realize that as consumer tastes and buying habits are unique and change constantly on an
ongoing basis. Richard Strong realized this and proposed to separate Aldus PageMaker into two major
divisions to reflect the graphics professional and business users needs in this change. The new features
would be made available in each of the product lines and would then depend upon the needs of the
latter that were identified for each of the market segments. A graphics professional

Comparison Between James Bond And Sean Connery

Sean Connery is the best portrayer of James bond because he has the seriousness that a spy needs to

The Dark Knight Returns made it s way onto the pages and into people s homes, the comic book scene

Navicular Syndrome Research Paper
Navicular syndrome, or navicular disease, is a hoof problem in horses. Navicular syndrome is a
degenerating bone disease that causes lameness in the horse. It deteriorates the navicular bone as well
as the surrounding tissues. Navicular generally occurs on the front feet and happens when horses are
between the age of eight and twelve. Navicular can lead to significant and even disabling lameness (
Navicular Problems: Symptoms and Treatment). The navicular bone is a small bone in a horse s hoof
that sits in between the coffin bone and the pastern. The bone is shaped like a canoe. This led to the
name navicular bone. The prefix nvicu means small boat in Latin. The bone is also called the distal
sesamoid bone
( Navicular Problems: Symptoms and Treatment). Associated with the navicular bone are several
structures of soft tissue. The collateral sesamoidean ligament is located on the upper side of the bone.
This ligament attaches to the distal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the most common ways to prevent navicular is proper shoeing and care of the feet, as well as
adding joint supplements to feed. If a horse has navicular syndrome, corrective shoeing is an option.
There are many types of shoes used when treating a horse with navicular. Some of these shoes are a
wedge shoe, heart bar shoes, egg bar shoes, and steel shoes with a pad insert. Another form of
treatment is anti inflammatory drugs such as phenylbutazone. Most horsemen call it Bute for short.
This drug can come in the form of oral paste or mix in powder. There is also coffin injections which
help give the horse more cushion between the navicular bone and the coffin bone. A neurectomy, or
denerving, is the process in which the nerves are surgically removed from the hoof so the horse has no
more feeling to the foot. Studies show that almost 60 percent of horses with navicular will get a

Restless Leg Syndrome
Growing Pains and Restless Leg Syndrome By Jonas Wilson, Ing. Med. Growing pains (GPs) and
restless leg syndrome are often confused with each other, but are different conditions. GPs are not
dangerous and are the most common form of episodic childhood pain of the musculoskeletal system.
It is estimated that up to 4 in every 10 children, both boys and girls, between the ages of 3 12 will
experience GPs at least once. The etiology is unknown, but several theories involving flatfeet,
hypermobility, reduced pain threshold, lower bone strength and psychological issues are all being
studied as contributing factors. RLS manifests as an uncomfortable sensation in the legs and creates
the urge to move the legs around to escape the discomforting sensation. The legs are primarily
affected, but the arms and other areas of the body may also be affected as well. Approximately 10% of
the population is affected ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Unlike in RLS, children with GPs do not experience relief from discomfort when moving the leg

some similarities that can easily lead to the two being confused with each other. For starters, they both
have a similar age of onset and range of duration as well as a predominance during the nighttime.
Children with these conditions do not typically experience any limitations to activity or any limping.
Furthermore, there is no laboratory evidence of underlying pathology in either condition and there are
no physical and neurological anomalies found on examination. In addition to this, both disorders tend
to have symptoms that last for at least 3 months and do not cause a general lack of wellbeing aside
from their defining clinical features. Sources

QoE in Femtocells

account the backhaul technologies. 1 Introduction In recent years the Mobile Network Operators
(MNOs) in UK and the rest of the world have seen an exponential increase in the data consumption
over their networks. This is due to the success of what is called Mobile Broadband contracts for

voice/video conference, where low delay and low jitter is required but some packet loss is acceptable),
streaming (e.g. TV on demand, where jitter and delay are less important), interactive (e.g. web
browsing, where a fast response is expected), and background (e.g. email or file transfer, which as the
lowest requirements). Because the femtocells will be using a non dedicated shared (with non femto
traffic) backhaul access technology (such as xDSL), the importance of delivering QoE is greater and
more complex than in the macrocell case. Especially in the uplink as many of the fixed broadband
technologies use asymmetrical link capacities. This means that some type of SLAs will need to be in
place between the owner of the femtocell (MNO) and the owner of the backhaul access (ISP) to assure

although femtocells are a very good solution for offloading data from an overloaded mobile network,
if the implementation/architecture is not correct it can affect the Quality of Experience (QoE) of the

Boys And Girls Club Reflection Paper
The Boys and Girls Club had a different atmosphere, compared to the Child Study Center. When I
arrived on the first day I was intimidated by the mass number of children that were in the building. I
noticed that even though the Boys and Girls Club is a structured environment for children, it does not
do nearly as well at administering the children. While I did have a wonderful time with the children
when I was there, I felt like there was more still activity from the children getting in trouble, than there
were the children doing activities. I had a great time with the kids, I noticed that they were very aware
of what the orange volunteer tag meant. I was not assigned a room upon entering, so I was able to
roam from room to room and interact with any age range I wanted to. For my first visit to the Boys
and Girls Club, on November 6, 2017, I was swarmed by the children aging from five to eight
(kindergarten and first). The children were very affectionate and wanted affection back. From the time
I walked in the gym until I left I had five or six children who wanted to be with me the whole time. I
was in the gym for the first rotation with the kindergarten and first graders, I noticed that they were
not as willing to participate in activities as the children at the Child Study Center were. Also, I was
able to visit the media room and observe the various reading levels the children were on. I noticed that
some children were very eager to read and participate, while others

Chesapeake Bay Persuasive Essay
With a decrease in algae population, the grasses of the bay will be fed on by zooplankton, oysters, and
fish. Without the algae, there would be a huge decrease in Bay grasses. This happens because
Zooplankton, oysters, and fish will no longer eat the algae, they would resort to the Bay grasses. The
effects then go onto the plants and animals living here. (Science Daily) Since the algae population
decreases, so does the algae bloom, which sink to the bottom and decompose to create oxygen many
underwater animals need. Some blooms also produce toxins, which can harm or kill the fish, harm
animals that drink the water, and cause problems for humans as well. With a decrease in algae blooms,
plants and animals would no longer have a steady population. They would end up ... Show more

Lastly, I will explain the dead zone of the chesapeake Bay. Excessive Nitrogen and Phosphrous
pollution from human activities cause Dead Zones , which are areas with low amounts of oxygen.
With little or no oxygen, fish, crabs, oysters, and other aquatic animals literally suffocate. Further
excess in nutrients also fuels the growth of dense algae blooms that block sunlight that underwater
grasses need to grow in order to continue providing food for waterfowl and shelter for blue crabs and
juvenile fish. (Chesapeake Bay Foundation) (Dead Zones)
When there are excessive loads of Nitrogen and Phosphorous in the water, Alage can bloom to
harmful levels, changing water color, and eventually stripping dissolved oxygen from the water when
they die, fall to the bottom, and decay. This dissolved oxygen is critical to the health of the

Service Encounter Report
Word count: 1978
I. Introduction
Nowadays, services dominate economy and generate most new jobs. This service encounter report
aims to compare and contrast my own real world service experiences using services marketing
theories. Firstly, it will compare my two satisfactory encounters journals in East Coast Car Rentals and
Ambient Hotel Colina to get the most satisfactory one. Secondly, two dissatisfactory encounters in
Ray White Alderley and Myer will be compared to gain the least satisfactory one. Finally, I will give 3
recommendations for the least satisfactory encounter. Theories of level of tangibility, heterogeneity,
inseparability, and perishability; level of customer service; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Overall, the most satisfactory encounter for me was the East Coast Car Rentals experience. In my
opinion, as a hotel, out of hospitality, customers deserved the tangible services. In contrast, the
solutions of the heterogeneity impressed me most in East Coast. Such a good service recovery, I felt
tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, competence and courtesy. I forgot the service failure because of
this good service recovery. I was extremely likely to go back to this service firm and recommend to
other friends.
III. Least Satisfactory Encounter
As for the dissatisfactory encounter, Ray White Alderley was disappointed (see Appendix 3). First of
all, according to the Flower of Service, billing is common to almost all services. Customers are
disappointed with the inaccurate, illegible, or incomplete bills. In addition, they do not waste time
later with corrections and refunds. In this encounter, Ray White Alderley took me 3 days to solve an
easy bill problem. Based on this situation, the service recovery was not efficient. I could not feel the
urgent reinstatement from it. Instead of telling me that the system showed I owe the money in the
second expansion, I preferred they understood the situation detail by communicating with the
colleagues. There was another

The Workplace Of The Civil Rights Act
2) a. In the workplace everyone should have equal opportunity to advance in their line of work.
Employers should not discriminate anyone who tries for the job. In this case, the veteran wants to
apply for a supervisory position. With the details about him suffering from back pain do to his
Vietnam conflict experiences, employers most likely would not promote him. However, under the
Americans with Disabilities Act, employers are not allowed to discriminate anyone based on a
disability. So in this case, employers have to see past the disability and focus on his credentials and
skills.
b. One law that can benefit this woman against the off color jokes sprouted by her co workers is Title
VII of the Civil Rights Act. This act forbids the discrimination based on race, age, sex, color, or
national origin. The co workers who tell the jokes are violating this rule because they are causing the
woman to feel uncomfortable.
c. In businesses, the employers need to hire the best employees for the job. These employees are found
through their credentials and skills, or at least they should be. If companies choose people based on
color, race, sex, national origin, etc.; the company is violating the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Both these prohibit the discrimination of color,
race, sex, national origin, etc. If the company can demonstrate that they chose their people based on
skill, then that is fine. However, if they did discriminate based

Michelangelo Sistine Chapel Ceiling
The Sistine Chapel ceiling is one of my favorite paintings by Michelangelo. It took him four years to
complete it. What I love about it is that he took the Bible stories and painted them onto the ceiling.
Each paint has its own story, and that can speak louder than works at times. As it tells a story, it also
tells us a little bit of what his beliefs are.
The Bible starts by telling us about Adam and Eve. How Eve took the fruit from the snake and gave it
to Adam and then they were ban from the Garden. You will notice a part of the ceiling has that story
painted. He has a man and a woman near the tree of knowledge. She has her hand out to take it from
the snake/man. Just one the other side of the tree it shows them being drove away by an

Contribution Of Indian Nationalism
The Indian independence movement was simply a response to British colonialism and oppression of
the Indian subcontinent inhabitants. Indian nationalism was the most crucial factor of Indian
independence, because it resulted in the swadeshi movement and national heros that joined the
different people of India. Shivaji preceded Mohandas Gandhi, but both were among the first national
heros. Indian national heroes are closely connected to Indian nationalism, but it is critically important
to first understand Indian Nationalism.
Indian nationalism was illustrated by people of Indian independence movement only in an effort to
connect the various races of India. Nationalism can be described as the loyalty and devotion to one
nation. Nationalists tend to exalt a nation, which is a group of people that care commonalities such as
language, religion, traditions, customs, and habits. Nationalism, as exhibited by Indians, could lead to
the desire for national furtherance of a nation or the striving for political independence. Indian
Nationalism was propagated by philosophical anarchists, especially Mohandas Gandhi and Bhagat
Singh. Indian Nationalists were fiercely occupied with creating their own idiosyncratic form of
nationalism. Many Indian nationalists argued for nationalism on the verge of anarchism like Tagore.
Tagore believed that european nationalism was a by product of capitalism , and gave rise to such evils
as colonialism (Tagore 6). Furthermore, Tagore believed that

The Violence Of Hindu Honor Killings
In honor killings, most of the women are killed on the basis of an illicit relationship as specified by
their partner or family. Sometimes the killings are carried out for ridiculously pathetic reasons such as
failing to serve a meal on time can be seen as a stain on family honor and can lead to woman s death.
In modern time, where the world is revolving around technological advances and the independence of
women and gender equality, honor killings have exceeded and are more rampant. While India is
indeed a prominent exception to Islam s near domination on contemporary honor killing cases in the
world, Hindu honor killings in India are of different form and command from those of Islamic honor
killings. Though no less gruesome, the honor killings in India are mostly confined to the northern
states of India. Besides, as Phyllis Chesler and Nathan Bloom state these killings are perpetuated by
sociocultural factors largely specific to India. As mentioned earlier, in India, honor killing cases are
not just limited to women, but they are also extended to men. However, in Pakistan and other Islamic
countries, majority of honor killing cases are usually related to female victims, there are hardly any
cases of male victims. In India, some of the major motives behind these atrocities are caste specific
motives such as immoral character and non caste specific illicit relationships. In Pakistan and other
Islamic countries, caste purity is not a concern, the motivation behind

The Cross Cultural Communication Issues
On the whole, this paper will identify four other major possible cross cultural issues as analysed
below.
First, the cross cultural communication issue may arise and there are mainly 3 factors contributing to
the communication barriers in such case.
For starters, the factor of culture difference (Moslehpour et al. 2016) present itself. As given in the
case study, both of the SSSL executives and Saran are all from India, but the target Qatari market and
the people, including both Sheikhs and host country nationals, that they have to deal with, share the
Islamic culture or Arab culture, which distinctly differ from India s religious belief Hinduism or
Buddhism culture.
In the next place, the factor of perception difference and experience difference (Beeber et al. 2014)
may occur as a result of culture differences. Since culture can influence the way people perceive
things and usually lead to diverse life events among individuals (Nisbett and Miyamoto 2005), people
from Qatar and India may have different solutions and reactions to the same problem in the future. At
the minimum, conflicts or stereotyping may occur among the host country nationals and expatriates; at
the maximum, the major decisions regarding the development and future direction of this partnership
business for both sides chief executives may go separate ways.
All three major differences outlined above interactively influence the cross cultural communication
process by creating noise (Francesco and

Cultural Anthropology Research Paper
Throughout the world many people find it very difficult to communicate with people that do not share
the same ideals as them. This lack of communication is a major barrier in advancement of our world.
Anthropology, in short, is the study of humans living and dead Anthropology is divided into five main
categories: applied, linguistic, medical, biological, archaeological, and cultural. Each of these five
divisions teaches a different aspect of human life.
Cultural anthropology teaches acceptance. There are social norms that can be found in every culture,
the difference from culture to culture is socialization how people react appropriately to one in another.
These differences can be in food, clothing, or religion. Each difference has meaning to why it is done
that certain way, either because of climate, history, resources or any other aspect that causes people to
live the way they do. If cultural differences are studied further, comparisons can be made to one s own
way of life and both cultures begin to look very similar. Once a person has been made aware of the
differences and the reasons why they occur, it becomes easier to become more understand to a group
of people s needs or wants.
This universal of understanding tends to come in handy during a job or even in everyday social
interaction. People tend to want to work harder when they are treated as equals and not when they are
being told what to do. Anthropology research teaches how to be respectful when interacting with

CDs with their ability to form molecular inclusion complexes with drug substances, will affect many
of the physicochemical properties of the drugs without affecting their vital pharmacological properties

extensively used [11,12]. Complexation efficiency can be improved by the addition of small amounts
of a hydrophilic polymer to drug CD complexes. Formation of ternary complexes between the drug,
cyclodextrin and a third component of an aqueous complexation medium can increase the solubility,
bioavailability, palatability and stability constants of drug CD complexes [4,10,11]. Loratadine needs
enhancement of solubility and dissolution rate to improve its oral bioavailability and therapeutic

The Schlieffen Plan Created By General Alfred Von Schlieffen
The Schlieffen Plan created by General Alfred Von Schlieffen in 1905 in WWI was believed to be a
foolproof operation intended for German victory over the French and Russian alliance by holding off
Russia with minimal strength and swiftly defeating France by a massive movement through the Low
Countries. Failure of precise instruction led to Britain declaring war on Germany. The Schlieffen plan
was an ineffective approach on the Germans behalf as Britain, the rivalry country to Germany, had
mobilized their troops to help France against Germany in accordance to the alliance treaty withholding
Britain, Serbia and Russia (Entente Alliance). There are abounding reasons of failure however time,
direction and change come in as the most logical to the argument. Timing had to be everything, using
the Schlieffen Plan, the German army had to defeat France before Russia could mobilize. The plan
was made on the assumption that Germany would mobilize its units, send them to France and defeat
France before Russia could finish their mobilization. For this to result germany had to mobilize first,
however during the war had Russia mobilized their troops first in response to Austria Hungary s
planned attack on Serbia. Now when the Germans began sending their men to France while Russia
were close to finishing their mobilization. So when the Germans were approaching Paris, the Russian
s quickly attacked into Germany s eastern front which was guarded by only a few soldiers, since most

A Study On Rust Industry
Rust oleum Professional Undercoating is a specialized grade spray on rubber coating used to prevent
corrosion caused by salt, water, and other road chemicals. It rubberizes, resists further corrosion and
deadens sound. This product is used on cars, trucks, trailers and other road vehicles. Rust damage is
irreversible and can only be prevented hence the utility for the product not that it is needed in dry
Arizona. Rust oleum has thousands of products that are all marketed for home and auto projects not
limited to fence paint, enamels, primers and rust strippers. The professional undercoating is one of the
more popular products as it is used on cars. I chose this product because I have no experience with this
item or car care. As it is, I pay mechanics and body shop owners to make sure that my car is not
falling apart. Rust oleum Professional Undercoating is a do it yourself project that I would not chose
to participate in. The product is unfamiliar to me, as a single female in my mid twenties I have never
purchased nor plan to purchase this merchandise anytime in the future. The product despite my lack of
necessity segments a market fairly specifically. Market segmentations shape the advertisement by
picking demographic, geographic, psychographic and behavioral factors of the individuals they wish
to target. Rust oleum s demographic segment makes products for middle class, American, family men
who have some education but are most likely blue collar or trade workers. The

Hardships In My Life
C.S. Lewis once said, Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny. Everyone
at one point or another faces some sort of hardship in their life. No matter how big the hardship is,
how the overcome it tells a lot about them as a person. Throughout my life I had very few difficulties.
I consider myself lucky to have the things I do, because I know others aren t as fortunate. I grew up in
a nice home, I have two loving parents, and my siblings and I have never had to worry if there would
be food on the table that night. When I had to face difficulties in my life, they weren t quie what
people would imagine when they think of adversity. My adversities have tested my mental and
emotional balance. The biggest adversity I had to face was from the end of my eighth grade year going
into the summer I was going to be starting my freshman year.
My family had moved to from Marion to Altoona, Iowa when I was just about to start eighth grade.
The move caused a lot of emotional pain. Altoona was two hours away from the place that was always
home. When my parents told my siblings and I about the news I didn t want to leave. I didn t want to to
leave my friends, my school or our families church. We came from a very close knit church and
everyone knew each other well. Moving away from the church had hurt almoe the whole family. It
wasn t long before my parents decided we needed to find another church to go to, especially since I
still needed to finish my conformation.

In 1957 the Common Essay
In 1957 the Common
In 1957 the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) was outlined by the then six member states. The main
reason for the Common Agricultural policy was to make Agriculture a self sufficient entity in The
European
Union.
The six member states of the European Union proposed to do this by creating a stable market for
agricultural produce and at the same time keeping prices at an affordable level for consumers.
The heads of the European Union (E.U) believed that Agriculture was one of the most significant
industries within the E.U; .and as a result agreed that special attention needed to be focused on this
area of European policy. When the nations of Europe got together in the late 1950 s, agriculture was ...

In this paper I will look in detail at the Common Agricultural Policy and then I will examine the
controversy associated with the policy. I will look at the steps taken by the E.U to counteract this
controversy and whether or not the controversy is likely to continue in the future. The common
agricultural policy is funded by means of the European
Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee fund (EAGGF) this fund amounts for almost half of the E.U
budget. The EAGGF incorporates two basic areas which are support and guidance, support of prices
and markets and to guide rural development. (Nugnet, N. 2003)
At the onset of Cap it was thought that revenue generated from import levies would finance the
EAGGF but due to the unforeseen and indeed rapid increase in agricultural produce within the E.U
and therefore a reduction in imports this has not been the case and the financial burden has fallen on to
national governments, however in recent years the E.U has decided to rely on its own resources for the
funding of

Medieval Ireland Research Paper
Urban authorities had to enact provisions for the health and safety in their urban town for their citizens
to ensure that the town survived and prospered. Medieval Irish towns were occupying a small amount
of land, nevertheless it was overcrowded. Hence, there was a need for provisions against fire, insults,
pigs, lepers and filth.
Safety was an important aspect and liberty in Irish towns. Clearly, this is shown by the appearance of
walls that surrounded the towns in Anglo Norman Ireland. Town walls were curtain walls with towers,
gates, ditches and they formed a complete enclosure around the urban settlement. There were many
purposes to these walls, although in terms of safety, they were used primarily to protect against
invasion. Accordingly, to protect, the walls must be strong and able to withstand attack, so citizens in
towns applied to murage ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, there are always exceptions. A major attack on Anglo Norman Irish towns came in 1315
with the invasion of the Bruce family from Scotland. Edward Bruce landed in Larne and subsequently
made his way south with the Irish. Although this attack ended in defeat, many towns were affected and
their safety was breached. Dundalk was a town that was affected as the town was burned on 29th June
1315 due to the actions of Bruce.
There were many internal problems within a town that made the urban authorities enact bye laws to
prevent major problems. One such problem was that of public insults. The urban administration of
Dublin believed that public insults against them (including the mayor, bailiffs and the council) and
men and women of substance was a problem. This is shown in both the White book of Dublin and the
Dublin Chain Book, where it was decreed that anyone whom insults those mention above will be
subject to a fine. These people must have felt threaten and needed a provision made to protect them

In recent years, slang and text speak have steadily infiltrated professional compositions; slyly

The Nature Of The Good Life
Philosophers have been thinking about the nature of the good life since ancient times. The good life
was a central topic during the ancient period of philosophy. Many people say that the good life is
living a prosperous life full of happiness. There are many different ideologies of the good life and each
philosopher has their own values and beliefs. I decided to pick one of the most well known
philosophers, Karl Marx. Karl Marx s philosophy is by far one of the most looked at. He called
capitalism the dictatorship of the upper class. , saying that it was run by the wealthy class solely to
make profit and maximize their own benefits. The end product and goal of capitalism was simply
economic gain. In this philosophy there has to be organized production, which includes the means of
production, such as factories, facilities, machines, and raw materials. Throughout this paper I will
describe certain aspects of Karl Marx s philosophy mainly focusing on why capitalism is not the way
to road to the good life. A good example of this can be looked at by recognizing the class struggle
between bourgeoisie and proletariat, otherwise known as the upper and lower class.
The bourgeoisie owns the means of production and the proletariats are the labor and means of
production. The relationship between these two social classes is very unique. While they both work
together in a way, and have similar interests, they are completely different from each other. This is
called the relation

At an early stage Munch was recognised in Germany and central Europe as one of the creators of a new and different movement of art, that helped artists to express their feelings about all the social change that was happening around them. Munch was born in 1863, and before long he had come to know the intensity of emotional pain. His father was a doctor who often bought patients to the Munch home. The woman is depicted as a creature of temptation, a selfish enslaver of men. She embraces the man, and appears to be sucking the life out of him. Edvard wrote of the inspiration of the painting in his diary. The paintings showed emotion that had never been expressed so openly through art before. This painting is laced with hidden meanings, the faceless clock represents the uncertainty of the artists time left, the bed represents death, the placement of the figure between these two pieces symbolises the decisions and issues he is experiencing. The painting depicts a horse pulling a cart, which appears to be dangerously out of control. The body is distorted, twisted and disfigured with terror. Edvard Munch s The Scream was painted around the end of the 19th century, and is possibly the first Expressionist painting. The Scream was very different from the art of its time. During this time artists tried to paint realistic paintings. Munch was a tortured soul, and it certainly showed in this painting. Most of his family had died, and he was often plagued by sickness. The Scream was a reflection of what was going on at the time, and what was going on in Munch s own mind It seemed to me that I could hear the scream. I painted this picture; painted the clouds as real blood. The colors screamed (Preble 52). Some people, when they look at this painting, only see ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The way we approached this task was through constant watching of the securities market to find out current trends as well as picking up stocks we thought were undervalued at that time. The latter, of course, applies to our managed portfolio, where we were able to select stocks we deemed were good investments. We thought this was a safe stock to purchase because it was a top 20 company in the 2013 Fortune 500 list as well as operating in an industry that has been in great demand by the American population as it is aging rapidly. Another conclusion that we arrived while discussing the possible purchases was that the company operates only in the US, so it had a great opportunity to seize the market of overweight Americans who suffer from several diseases related to this problem, and have to buy one or several medications at times. Colgate Palmolive Co: This was another good investment in our opinion. The company had a low beta at the time of the purchase and has been having a steady growth lately, which we thought would be good component for our portfolio to hedge against stocks that held greater risk. Although the company has been known to harm the environment by consuming high levels of palm oil, we believed that this fact would not interfere with the growth potential of the company as the numbers indicated that it was a reliable investment. Native American tribes such as the Crow lived in the Great Plains. The Crow tribe of the Great Plains were nomadic and followed the buffalo migrations which provided their food. This tribe spent a good part of the year living in camps that could easily be dismantled and moved to follow the buffalo migrations. Other tribes of the plains were more sedentary. These tribes lived in permanent villages year round. The Great Plains are located between the South and Midwest regions to the east and the Rocky Mountains to the west. Most of the Native American Crow tribe members had died out because of low food supply or fighting. But, most of the time the Native American tribes in the Grassy Plains did not have wars to the death or extermination of a tribe. In the past time most tribes died but some survived and they changed their way of life. For example, the Crow tribes may have set traps for animals rather than sending out groups and risking village population. Some tribes may have become extinct because of other villages raiding them and taking their land. Another reason for tribe extinction was disease after the white invasion because the whites were exposed to and are immune to many diseases that the Native Americans aren t. Therefore, many Native Americans have gotten sick and tribes have been wiped out because of that. A Case Study of the Marketing Strategies of Aldus Corporation Introduction In this short paper, this author will look at the Aldus Corporation and the company s marketing manager, Richard Strong. Despite the riskiness of the proposal, he correctly identified some foreseeable problems that required a shift in the company s market positioning strategy. In this short essay, we will examine this positioning strategy in detail as well as the other marketing issues at Aldus. As well will see in this study, while the plan was necessary due to the upcoming saturation of the existing market for professionals, the situation on the ground in the company was not geared favorably in a structural manner to facilitate the proposed transition. Had more knowledge been available of this, modifications to the plan could have made the transition much smoother. Luckily enough, Apple came to the rescue for Aldus in pairing up on some of the responsibility for helping with the market repositioning. Positioning Strategy at Aldus Marketing is very dynamic and strong leaders must realize that as consumer tastes and buying habits are unique and change constantly on an ongoing basis. It deteriorates the navicular bone as well as the surrounding tissues. Navicular generally occurs on the front feet and happens when horses are between the age of eight and twelve. Navicular can lead to significant and even disabling lameness ( Navicular Problems: Symptoms and Treatment). The navicular bone is a small bone in a horse s hoof that sits in between the coffin bone and the pastern. The bone is shaped like a canoe. This led to the name navicular bone. The prefix nvicu means small boat in Latin. The bone is also called the distal sesamoid bone ( Navicular Problems: Symptoms and Treatment). Associated with the navicular bone are several structures of soft tissue. The collateral sesamoidean ligament is located on the upper side of the bone. This ligament attaches to the distal ... Most horsemen call it Bute for short. This drug can come in the form of oral paste or mix in powder. There is also coffin injections which help give the horse more cushion between the navicular bone and the coffin bone. Growing pains (GPs) and restless leg syndrome are often confused with each other, but are different conditions. It is estimated that up to 4 in every 10 children, both boys and girls, between the ages of 3 12 will experience GPs at least once. The etiology is unknown, but several theories involving flatfeet, hypermobility, reduced pain threshold, lower bone strength and psychological issues are all being studied as contributing factors. Because the femtocells will be using a non dedicated shared (with non femto traffic) backhaul access technology (such as xDSL), the importance of delivering QoE is greater and more complex than in the macrocell case. Especially in the uplink as many of the fixed broadband technologies use asymmetrical link capacities. This means that some type of SLAs will need to be in place between the owner of the femtocell (MNO) and the owner of the backhaul access (ISP) to assure the required QoE for the different traffic flows [5]. Depending on the implementation solution used (from the 3GPP proposed ones) the technical difficulties to deliver an acceptable QoE will change. So although femtocells are a very good solution for offloading data from an overloaded mobile network, if the implementation/architecture is not correct it can affect the Quality of Experience (QoE) of the end user, which will prompt the end user to use the macrocell. 5. Conclusion and further work To avoid this situation, a simulation study will be carried on using as parameters: the future in home data demands with the future femtocell voice and data demands, the different proposed ... Indian nationalism was the most crucial factor of Indian independence, because it resulted in the swadeshi movement and national heros that joined the different people of India. In modern time, where the world is revolving around technological advances and the independence of women and gender equality, honor killings have exceeded and are more rampant. While India is indeed a prominent exception to Islam s near domination on contemporary honor killing cases in the world, Hindu honor killings in India are of different form and command from those of Islamic honor killings. • 28. The Cross Cultural Communication Issues On the whole, this paper will identify four other major possible cross cultural issues as analysed below. First, the cross cultural communication issue may arise and there are mainly 3 factors contributing to the communication barriers in such case. For starters, the factor of culture difference (Moslehpour et al. 2016) present itself. As given in the case study, both of the SSSL executives and Saran are all from India, but the target Qatari market and the people, including both Sheikhs and host country nationals, that they have to deal with, share the Islamic culture or Arab culture, which distinctly differ from India s religious belief Hinduism or Buddhism culture. In the next place, the factor of perception difference and experience difference (Beeber et al. 2014) may occur as a result of culture differences. Since culture can influence the way people perceive things and usually lead to diverse life events among individuals (Nisbett and Miyamoto 2005), people from Qatar and India may have different solutions and reactions to the same problem in the future. At the minimum, conflicts or stereotyping may occur among the host country nationals and expatriates; at the maximum, the major decisions regarding the development and future direction of this partnership business for both sides chief executives may go separate ways. This gave Brady the opportunity to start with a 17 0 lead, Manning didn t let that discourage him because he came back and made Brady fight for his win all the way till the end, Patriots 38 Colts 34 (Gelhar). Loratadine Hcl (LOR) Introduction Loratadine HCl (LOR) , which is chemically designated as ethyl 4 (8 chloro 5,6 dihydro,11H benzo[5,6] cyclohepta[1,2 b]pyridin 11 ylidene) 1 piperidinecarboxylate Hydrochloride is a tricyclic, piperidine derivative of antihistamines [1,2]. It is a second generation antihistamines, so it has non sedating properties. Loratadine are newer drugs that are much more selective for peripheral H1 receptors as opposed to the central nervous system H1 receptors and cholinergic receptors. H1 antihistamines are applied in the treatment of allergies, they prevent symptoms such as itching, congestion, rhinorrhoea, tearing and sneezing. This selectivity significantly reduces the occurrence of adverse drug reactions, such as sedation, while ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... CDs with their ability to form molecular inclusion complexes with drug substances, will affect many of the physicochemical properties of the drugs without affecting their vital pharmacological properties [6,7]. Due to the availability, cost and cavity dimensions the parent β cyclodextrin (βCD) is the most extensively used [11,12]. Complexation efficiency can be improved by the addition of small amounts of a hydrophilic polymer to drug CD complexes. Formation of ternary complexes between the drug, cyclodextrin and a third component of an aqueous complexation medium can increase the solubility, bioavailability, palatability and stability constants of drug CD complexes [4,10,11]. Loratadine needs enhancement of solubility and dissolution rate to improve its oral bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy through formation of an inclusion complex with βCD and with and without hydrophilic polymer. In the present work the synergistic effect of hydrophilic polymer polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) on the complexation of loratadine HCl with βCD was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. The Schlieffen Plan Created By General Alfred Von Schlieffen The Schlieffen Plan created by General Alfred Von Schlieffen in 1905 in WWI was believed to be a foolproof operation intended for German victory over the French and Russian alliance by holding off Russia with minimal strength and swiftly defeating France by a massive movement through the Low Countries. Failure of precise instruction led to Britain declaring war on Germany. The Schlieffen plan was an ineffective approach on the Germans behalf as Britain, the rivalry country to Germany, had mobilized their troops to help France against Germany in accordance to the alliance treaty withholding Britain, Serbia and Russia (Entente Alliance). There are abounding reasons of failure however time, direction and change come in as the most logical to the argument. Timing had to be everything, using the Schlieffen Plan, the German army had to defeat France before Russia could mobilize. The plan was made on the assumption that Germany would mobilize its units, send them to France and defeat France before Russia could finish their mobilization. For this to result germany had to mobilize first, however during the war had Russia mobilized their troops first in response to Austria Hungary s planned attack on Serbia. Now when the Germans began sending their men to France while Russia were close to finishing their mobilization. So when the Germans were approaching Paris, the Russian s quickly attacked into Germany s eastern front which was guarded by only a few soldiers, since most ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

No matter how big the hardship is, how the overcome it tells a lot about them as a person. Throughout my life I had very few difficulties. I consider myself lucky to have the things I do, because I know others aren t as fortunate. I grew up in a nice home, I have two loving parents, and my siblings and I have never had to worry if there would be food on the table that night. When I had to face difficulties in my life, they weren t quie what people would imagine when they think of adversity. My adversities have tested my mental and emotional balance. The biggest adversity I had to face was from the end of my eighth grade year going into the summer I was going to be starting my freshman year. My family had moved to from Marion to Altoona, Iowa when I was just about to start eighth grade. The move caused a lot of emotional pain. Altoona was two hours away from the place that was always home. When my parents told my siblings and I about the news I didn t want to leave. I didn t want to to leave my friends, my school or our families church. We came from a very close knit church and everyone knew each other well. Moving away from the church had hurt almoe the whole family. • 35. In 1957 the Common Essay In 1957 the Common In 1957 the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) was outlined by the then six member states. The main reason for the Common Agricultural policy was to make Agriculture a self sufficient entity in The European Union. The six member states of the European Union proposed to do this by creating a stable market for agricultural produce and at the same time keeping prices at an affordable level for consumers. The heads of the European Union (E.U) believed that Agriculture was one of the most significant industries within the E.U; .and as a result agreed that special attention needed to be focused on this area of European policy. In this paper I will look in detail at the Common Agricultural Policy and then I will examine the controversy associated with the policy. I will look at the steps taken by the E.U to counteract this controversy and whether or not the controversy is likely to continue in the future. The common agricultural policy is funded by means of the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee fund (EAGGF) this fund amounts for almost half of the E.U budget. The EAGGF incorporates two basic areas which are support and guidance, support of prices and markets and to guide rural development. (Nugnet, N. 2003) At the onset of Cap it was thought that revenue generated from import levies would finance the EAGGF but due to the unforeseen and indeed rapid increase in agricultural produce within the E.U and therefore a reduction in imports this has not been the case and the financial burden has fallen on to national governments, however in recent years the E.U has decided to rely on its own resources for the funding of EAGGF. (EL Agrai, Ali. M. 2001) The area of support within the EAGGF ensures that farmers have a market for their goods setting prices which allows ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 36. Medieval Ireland Research Paper Urban authorities had to enact provisions for the health and safety in their urban town for their citizens to ensure that the town survived and prospered. Medieval Irish towns were occupying a small amount of land, nevertheless it was overcrowded. Hence, there was a need for provisions against fire, insults, pigs, lepers and filth. Safety was an important aspect and liberty in Irish towns. Clearly, this is shown by the appearance of walls that surrounded the towns in Anglo Norman Ireland. Town walls were curtain walls with towers, gates, ditches and they formed a complete enclosure around the urban settlement. There were many purposes to these walls, although in terms of safety, they were used primarily to protect against invasion. Accordingly, to protect, the walls must be strong and able to withstand attack, so citizens in towns applied to murage ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, there are always exceptions. A major attack on Anglo Norman Irish towns came in 1315 with the invasion of the Bruce family from Scotland. Edward Bruce landed in Larne and subsequently made his way south with the Irish. Although this attack ended in defeat, many towns were affected and their safety was breached. Dundalk was a town that was affected as the town was burned on 29th June 1315 due to the actions of Bruce. There were many internal problems within a town that made the urban authorities enact bye laws to prevent major problems. One such problem was that of public insults. The urban administration of Dublin believed that public insults against them (including the mayor, bailiffs and the council) and men and women of substance was a problem. This is shown in both the White book of Dublin and the Dublin Chain Book, where it was decreed that anyone whom insults those mention above will be subject to a fine. • 40. The Nature Of The Good Life Philosophers have been thinking about the nature of the good life since ancient times. The good life was a central topic during the ancient period of philosophy. Many people say that the good life is living a prosperous life full of happiness. There are many different ideologies of the good life and each philosopher has their own values and beliefs. I decided to pick one of the most well known philosophers, Karl Marx. Karl Marx s philosophy is by far one of the most looked at. He called capitalism the dictatorship of the upper class. , saying that it was run by the wealthy class solely to make profit and maximize their own benefits. The end product and goal of capitalism was simply economic gain. In this philosophy there has to be organized production, which includes the means of production, such as factories, facilities, machines, and raw materials. Throughout this paper I will describe certain aspects of Karl Marx s philosophy mainly focusing on why capitalism is not the way to road to the good life. A good example of this can be looked at by recognizing the class struggle between bourgeoisie and proletariat, otherwise known as the upper and lower class. The bourgeoisie owns the means of production and the proletariats are the labor and means of production. The relationship between these two social classes is very unique. While they both work together in a way, and have similar interests, they are completely different from each other. This is called the relation ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
