• Saves the planet from over

• Visible light spectrum is 10,000
times bigger than radio-
frequency bandwidth
• Speeds of upto 10GB/s can be
achieved with Li-Fi

• Radio frequency can be
intercepted to cause data leaks
• Li-Fi has virtually no risks data
leaks
• Since Li-Fi works on light, it is
calibrated through the light in
your room

6. Ease of access
• The data node of Li-Fi is LED
• LEDs are already abundant in
the world
• It reduces pressure of building
infrastructure
• Makes it easier for even poor
countries to adopt it

7. Health concerns
• Over exposure to Radio-
frequency poses a big threat to
humans
• Some common problems are
increased body temperature,
migraine and even cancer
• Since Li-Fi uses visible light, it
eliminates all of the above

radio base stations
• Instead of new base stations,

• Li-Fi brings the cost of
installation and maintenance
down

• Radio frequencies can hamper
equipment in hospitals
• Li-Fi can come in handy at such
places without hindering with
anything else

• Li-Fi enabled lighting can offer
remote information of an item
within the lights vicinity

• Vehicles can exchange
information
• Traffic-light timings can get

• Li-Fi can help develop better
anti-collision systems
