  making the video more interesting.

  them a guide to the background story.
Distributers have to think about their target
 audience and what would appeal to them,
 through advertisement they can attract a
 variety of audiences. With more a more
 diverse range of technology available,
 distributers can reveal their product to
 many ages for example those who use
 social networking site will be able to see
 links, videos and updates.

 The celebrity used can make a difference
  if they are known by everyone, they will
  receive more attention.
 Having a combination of a popular artist
  with a less known artist will assist in the
  unfamiliar performers image, making a
  starting point to their career.
 More views if a popular celebrity is
  involved fans will support them.

 The “Male Gaze” how women are
  portrayed in the media light.
 Women are used as objects for the male
  viewers to be pleased by.
 Gives a representation of how the female
  body is meant to be shaped.
 Camera focuses on the curves of the
  women’s body showing how a women's
  body is meant to be represented.


Laura Mulvey Theory
 A relationship between lyrics and the visuals
  which demonstrate references to the lyrics.
 He stated key features which form a music
  video such as links between lyrics, meaning
  and the visuals.
 Intersexual references to other music videos
  and television shows which can be used as
  humour, this pleases the audience.
 There has to be a connection with the visual,
  the artist and lyrics for an effective music
  video.
