• In 1976, Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak,
with funding from multimillionaire
A.C. "Mike" Markkula, founded Apple.
• Before Wozniak co-founded Apple with Jobs,
he was an electronics hacker.
• Jobs and Wozniak had been friends for some
time, having met in 1971, when their mutual
friend, Bill Fernandez, introduced 21-year-old
Wozniak to 16-year-old Jobs.
•
• Steve Jobs managed to interest Wozniak in
assembling a computer and selling it.
BEGINNING OF APPLE
COMPUTERS
WORKED COMPANIES:
 PIXAR ANIMATION STUDIO’S in 1986.
 Next software inc in the period of (1987-1997).
 APPLE COMPUTER INC in the period of (1976-
1986)
EARLY HISTORY:
 Jobs was not happy at school in
Mountain View so the family moved to
Los Altos, California, where Steven
attended Homestead High School.
 His electronics teacher at Homestead
High, Hohn McCollum, recalled he was
"something of a loner" and "always had
a different way of looking at things.
Continue
 After school, Jobs attended
lectures at the Hewlett-Packard
electronics firm in Palo Alto,
California.
 In 1972 Jobs graduated from high
school and register at Reed
College in Portland, Oregon. After
dropping out of Reed after one
semester, he hung around campus
for a year, taking classes in
philosophy and immersing himself
in the counterculture.
APPLE COMPUTER
 Jobs and Wozniak put together their first
computer, called the Apple I.
 They marketed it in 1976 at a price of
$666.
 The Apple I was the first single-board
computer with built-in video interface,
and on-board ROM, which told the
machine how to load other programs
from an external source.
Passion of Steve Jobs
 Even more than when he’s performing
on stage, Steven P. Job's passion for
personal computing comes through
when he talks about the years he spent
cajoling his designers to build what he
presented today as the world’s
“thinnest” computer.
 Along with David Pogue, the Times
technology columnist, I spent a half-
hour with Mr. Jobs after he introduced
the Mac Book Air this morning at the
Macworld Expo.
 “Job's passion for personal
computing comes through
when he talks about the
years he spent cajoling his
designers to build what he
presented today as the
world’s “thinnest” computer.
 O.K Steve Jobs has lost it
or is going through an
“innovator’s block” . He
bugged his designers to
built a computer that no one
else ever wanted other than
himself
Vision Of Business
Increase Your Innovation by Studying Apple’s
CEO
1.Do What you love : Find something you love to do
so much you can’t wait for the sun to rise to do it all over again.
2. Put a dent in the universe : Job’s vision was
to put a computer in the hands of everyday people. Create a vision for
your brand. In one sentence, explain how it moves society forward.
3.Kick start your brain : Creativity leads to
innovative ideas. For Steve Jobs, creativity is connecting things, Jobs
believes that a broad set of experiences expands our understanding of
the human experience. A broader understanding leads to breakthroughs
that others may have missed.
Make more connections outside your field. Attend conferences that you
normally would not attend. Travel more often. Hire partners and
employees from outside your industry. Venture outside your comfort
zone.
Increase Your Innovation by Studying Apple’s
CEO
4. Sell dreams, not products. People
who buy Apple products are not "consumers." They are people
with hopes, dreams and ambitions. He builds products to help
people achieve their dreams.
5. Say no to 1,000 things. Jobs is
committed to building products with simple, uncluttered design.
And that commitment extends beyond products. From the design
of the iPod to the iPad, from the packaging of Apple's products, to
the functionality of the Web site, in Apple's world, innovation
means eliminating the unnecessary so that the necessary may
speak.
6. Create insanely great
experiences: Jobs has made the Apple stores the gold
standard in customer service. The Apple store has become the
world's best retailer by introducing simple innovations any
business can adopt to create deeper, more emotional connections
with their customers.
Increase Your Innovation by Studying Apple’s
CEO
7. Master the message. Steve Jobs is the
world's greatest corporate storyteller, turning product
launches into an art form. You can have the most
innovative idea in the world, but if you can't get people
excited about it, it doesn't matter. For every idea that turns
into a successful innovation, there are thousands of ideas
that never gain traction because the people behind those
ideas failed to tell a compelling story.
8. The only way to do great work
is to love what you do. You’ve got to
find what you love. If you haven’t found it yet, keep
looking; don’t settle.
9. Have the courage to follow your
heart and intuition
