Now, the greatest distance between two people is misunderstanding. Reality doesn't give a shit about political correctness. One of my earliest jobs was working at a McDonald's just off a major interstate which got its fair share of school buses. As soon as it was determined to be filled predominantly or completely by blacks, the in-joke phrase "Fish filet, small fry, large orange" would travel around the back line. It was a wry acknowledgment of the most popular food order to come and a cue to fully load and drop both baskets of fish into the fryer and check the fill level of the orange syrup tank.
