2. Pillars of faith 6
• Belief in Allah, Creator of the worlds.
• Belief in Angels.
• Belief in Prophets
• Belief in Books of Revelation.
• Belief in the Day of Judgment.
• Belief in Predestination.
3. 1st Blow of the Trumpet
• Angel Israfil is waiting to blow the
trumpet.
• The Universe will collapse
4. 2nd Blow of the Trumpet
• A violent earth quake causes the
graves to split and people come out
of them rushing, terrified as if they
are drunk.
• Everyone will feel they lived on earth
for less than a day.
5. Names in the Quran for the
Judgment Day
• Yom Al-Qiyamah – Day of Standing
• Al- Hisaab – Day of Accounting
• Yom Al- fasaal- Day of Sorting Out
6. The Gathering Day
• Day of Judgment lasts about 50,000 years.
• Jabril & all the angels will assemble in rows
for judgment, all people will be judged fairly
and those who speak will only be able to
speak the truth.
• People will be gathered for judgment,
grouped according to their deeds. They will
stand behind their Prophet
7. Believers on Day of Judgment
• Their physical condition
• They will be protected against the fear
of this day, their faces radiant with joy
and trust of receiving their reward.
8. Unbelievers on the Day of
Judgment
• Their physical condition
• Their faces will be dust covered,
overcast with gloom.
• They feel remorse and are in fear.
• They will beg for some of the light (as in
safety)
9. The Driver & the Witness
• “ And there will come forth every soul:
with each will be an (angel) to drive and
an (angel) to bear witness.” (Quran 50v
21)
10. The Reckoning Day
• "Then surely, We shall question those (people) to
whom it (the book) was sent and verily, We shall
question the Messengers." (Quran 7 v6 &7)
• "On the Day when every person will be confronted
with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has
done, he will wish that there were a great distance
between him and his evil." (Quran 3 v 30)
• . “Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the
delight (You indulged in, in this world). ” (Quran 102 v
8)
11. Book of Deeds
• “Then he who is given His record in His right
hand soon will his account be taken by an
easy reckoning and he will turn to his people
rejoicing! But He who is given His record
behind his back, soon will he cry for Perdition
and he will enter a blazing fire. Truly did he
go about among his people rejoicing. Truly
did he think that he would not have to return
to Us!” (Quran 84 v 7-15)
12. The 1st thing we are Questioned
about is Prayer
• The Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) said , “The
first thing the people will be accountable for
on the Day of Judgment is prayer, Allah will
say to His angels (even though he already
knows) : “Look at my servants prayers. Were
they complete or not?” If they were complete
It will be written as complete. If they were not
fully complete Allah will say: “See if my
servant has voluntary prayers, If he has them
Allah will say: Complete his obligatory prayers
shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the
rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same
manner.” {Reported by Imams Ahmad, Abu
Dawood, An-Nisa'i, and Al-Hakim}
13. We will be asked on the Day of
Judgment about five things.
• The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“The son of Adam will not pass away
from Allah until he is asked about five
things: how he lived his life, and how he
utilized his youth, with what means did
he earn his wealth, how did he spend
his wealth, and what did he do with his
knowledge.” {Good hadith -Tirmithi}
14. Surprise Witnesses
• Body Parts :
• "On the day when their tongues, their
hands, and their feet will bear witness
against them as to their actions".
(Quran 24 verse 24).
15. No one will be wronged
• “We shall set up scales of justice for the
Day of Judgment so that not a soul will
be delt with unjustly in the least. And if
there be (no more than) the weight of a
mustard seed we will bring it (to
account).” (Quran 21 v47)
16. Moment of Judgment
• Haddith : "Allah will talk to everyone
directly, without a translator. The person
will look to his right and will not see
anything but his deeds. Then the
person will look in front of himself and
will nothing but the Hellfire facing him.
So protect yourself from Hellfire even by
giving a charity of half a date. (Bukhari)
17. Scales / Mizan
• Scales will measure good & bad deeds.
• Success is….. For our good deeds to
out weigh our bad deeds.
18. The Brink of Hell
• “So, by thy Lord, without doubt, we shall
gather them together and Satan , then
shall we bring them forth on their knees
round about Hell” (Quran 19 v68)
19. Crossing the Bridge
• The speed and difficulty of crossing the bridge will depend on your deeds.
• And the hadith of the prophet (BPUH) continued when he said: "Then the
bridge will be laid across Hell, and the companions of the prophets asked:
"What is the bridge, O, Messenger of Allah?" He said: " It is a slippery
bridge on which there are clamps and hooks like a thorny seed that is wide
at one side and narrow at the other and thorns with bent ends. Some of
the believers will cross the bridge as quickly as the wink of an eye, some
others as quick as lightning, as a strong wind, and as fast horses, so some
will be safe without any harm; some will be safe after receiving some
scratches, and some will fall down into the Hell Fire. The last person will
cross by being dragged over the bridge. Some believers will say after they
have crossed the bridge safely: O Allah! Save our Muslim brothers for they
used to pray with us, fast with us, and also do good deeds with us, Allah
will say: "Go and take out (of Hell) any one in whose heart you find faith
equal to the weight of one (Dinar); Allah will forbid the Fire to burn the
faces of those sinners. They will go to them and find some of them in Hell
Fire up to their feet, and some up to the middle of their legs, so they will
take out those whom they will recognize and then they will return, and
Allah will say to them: "Go and take out of Hell anyone in whose heart you
find faith equal to the weight of one half Dinar." They will take out
whomever they will recognize and return. And then Allah will say: "Go and
take out (of Hell anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of
an atom (or smallest ant)." And so they will take out all those whom they
will recognize.
20. Intercession
• Intercession of Prophets, angels & the righteous.
• The prophet (PBUH) then continued saying: "Then the
prophets and angels and the believers will intercede,
and (last of all) the Almighty Allah will say: "Now remains
my intercession." He will then hold a handful of the Fire
from which He will take out some people whose bodies
have been burned, and they will be thrown into a river at
the sides of paradise, called the water of the life. They
will grow on its banks, as a seed carried by the water
stream. They then will come out of the river like pearls,
and they will have necklace, and they will enter Paradise
where upon the people of Paradise will say: "These are
the people who were let free by the beneficent. He has
admitted them into Paradise without them having them
have done any good deeds and without sending forth
any good (for themselves). Then it will be said to them: "
For you is what you have seen and its equivalent as
well."
22. • It is out of the Mercy of Allah, that he told us
about these important questions ahead of
time so that we can prepare ourselves. The
good believer is the one who prepares
himself for those difficult events by getting
closer to Allah, by doing good deeds, and by
staying away from what Allah has forbidden,
so that he will be among those who receive
their book of deeds on the Day of Judgment
in their right hand and Allah will enter them
into paradise.
