““It is He (Allah) Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messengerIt is He (Allah) Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger
(Muhammad) from among themselves, to ((Muhammad) from among themselves, to (YAT-LU-’ALAI-HI-AA-YA –YAT-LU-’ALAI-HI-AA-YA –
TIHIMTIHIM) rehearse to them His Signs , and () rehearse to them His Signs , and (YU-ZAK-KEE-HIMYU-ZAK-KEE-HIM) to) to
sanctify them (purify and make them grow), and to (sanctify them (purify and make them grow), and to (YU-’AL-LIMU-YU-’AL-LIMU-

is the bounty of Allah, which He gives to whom Heis the bounty of Allah, which He gives to whom He

Bearer of Glad Tidings (Bearer of Glad Tidings (MUBAS-SHIRAHMUBAS-SHIRAH), and a Warner (), and a Warner (NADZEERAHNADZEERAH)―)―
And as one who invites to Allah's (Grace) by His leave (And as one who invites to Allah's (Grace) by His leave (DAA-’IYANDAA-’IYAN
ILALLAAHILALLAAH) , and as a Lamp spreading Light () , and as a Lamp spreading Light (SIRAAJAN MUNEERAHSIRAAJAN MUNEERAH).”).”

TADZKIRAHTADZKIRAH
““And strive (And strive (WA-JAA-HADUWA-JAA-HADU) in His cause as ye ought to) in His cause as ye ought to

TADZKIRAHTADZKIRAH
““And thus have We willed you to be a community of theAnd thus have We willed you to be a community of the
middle way (middle way (UMMATAN WASOTANUMMATAN WASOTAN) [i.e. justly balanced], so) [i.e. justly balanced], so
that [with your lives] you might bear witness to the truththat [with your lives] you might bear witness to the truth
before all mankind (before all mankind (SHUHADAA-A - ‘ALAN-NAASSHUHADAA-A - ‘ALAN-NAAS) , and the) , and the
Messenger as a witness over you.“Messenger as a witness over you.“

TADZKIRAHTADZKIRAH
““O YOU who have attained to faith!O YOU who have attained to faith! Be helpers [in the causeBe helpers [in the cause
of Allah]of Allah] - even as Jesus, the son of Mary, said unto the- even as Jesus, the son of Mary, said unto the
white-garbed ones, "Who will be my helpers in Allah'swhite-garbed ones, "Who will be my helpers in Allah's
cause?" - whereupon the white-garbed [disciples] replied,cause?" - whereupon the white-garbed [disciples] replied,
""We shall be [thy] helpers [in the cause] of AllahWe shall be [thy] helpers [in the cause] of Allah!”!”

““Among theAmong the believers are men who have [always] been truebelievers are men who have [always] been true
to what they have vowed before Allahto what they have vowed before Allah: Of them some have: Of them some have

SURAH AL-FATH : 48 : 1-10SURAH AL-FATH : 48 : 1-10

“Surely We have given to you a clear victory
That Allah may forgive your community their past
faults and those to follow and complete His favour
to you and keep you on a right way,
And that Allah might help you with a mighty
help.”
(Qur’an: Fath: 48: 1-3)

Anas who said: “We were sad and depressed when we returnedAnas who said: “We were sad and depressed when we returned
from al-Hudaybiyyah because of being prevented from performingfrom al-Hudaybiyyah because of being prevented from performing
the pilgrimage. Allah, glorious and majestic is He, then revealedthe pilgrimage. Allah, glorious and majestic is He, then revealed
(Lo! We have given thee (O Muhammad) a signal victory),(Lo! We have given thee (O Muhammad) a signal victory), uponupon
which the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace,which the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace,
said: ‘said: ‘A verse has been revealed to me and it is more beloved toA verse has been revealed to me and it is more beloved to
me than the world and all that is in itme than the world and all that is in it’ ”.’ ”.

“He it is Who sent down tranquillity into the
hearts of the believers that they might have more
of faith added to their faith-- and Allah's are the
hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is
Knowing, Wise-”
(Qur’an: Fath: 48: 4)

““That He (Allah) mayThat He (Allah) may cause the believing mencause the believing men
and the believing women to enter gardensand the believing women to enter gardens
beneath which rivers flow to abide therein andbeneath which rivers flow to abide therein and
remove from them their evil;remove from them their evil; and that isand that is a granda grand
achievement with Allahachievement with Allah””

““And (that)And (that) He may punishHe may punish thethe hypocritical men andhypocritical men and
the hypocritical womenthe hypocritical women, and the, and the polytheistic men andpolytheistic men and
the polytheistic womenthe polytheistic women, the, the entertainers of evilentertainers of evil
thoughts about Allahthoughts about Allah. On them is the evil turn, and. On them is the evil turn, and
Allah is wroth (angry) with them and has cursed themAllah is wroth (angry) with them and has cursed them
and prepared hell for them, and evil is the resort.”and prepared hell for them, and evil is the resort.”

The groups chastised severely by Allah:
 MUNAAFIQUN
– “ hypocrites “
 MUSHRIKUN
– “ those who set up partners to Allah “
 DZON-NEEN BILLAA-HI SU’
- “Those having bad/evil opinion of Allah

““AndAnd Allah's are the hosts of the heavens andAllah's are the hosts of the heavens and
the earththe earth; and Allah is Mighty (; and Allah is Mighty (AZEEZANAZEEZAN) ,) ,
Wise (Wise (HAKEEMAHAKEEMA).”).”

““SurelySurely We have sent you as a witnessWe have sent you as a witness (SHAHEEDA) and as a(SHAHEEDA) and as a
bearer of good newsbearer of good news (MUBASHEERA)and as(MUBASHEERA)and as a warnera warner
(NADZEERA) , that you may(NADZEERA) , that you may believe in Allah and His Messengerbelieve in Allah and His Messenger andand
may aid himmay aid him andand revere himrevere him; and (that); and (that) you may declare His glory,you may declare His glory,

““Surely those who swear allegianceSurely those who swear allegiance to you do butto you do but
swear allegiance to Allah;swear allegiance to Allah; the hand of Allah isthe hand of Allah is

faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul,faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul,
and whoever fulfils what he has covenanted withand whoever fulfils what he has covenanted with

MUMUHHAM-MAD – IB-NU – ‘ABDILLAAHAM-MAD – IB-NU – ‘ABDILLAAH

and upon his Household and Companions,and upon his Household and Companions,
and all who follow and are loyal to himand all who follow and are loyal to him

WA-MAN – TA-BI- ’A-HU – WA – WAA - LAHWA-MAN – TA-BI- ’A-HU – WA – WAA - LAH

YA ROB-BANAA’- TA-ROF- NAAYA ROB-BANAA’- TA-ROF- NAA
BI- AN-NA-NAQ –TA-ROF- NAABI- AN-NA-NAQ –TA-ROF- NAA
O our Lord! We do admit earnestly,O our Lord! We do admit earnestly,
that we have committed sins (excesses).that we have committed sins (excesses).

WA- AN-NA-NAA - AS-ROF-NAA
‘A-LAL- LA –ZO ASH-ROF-NAA
And we have exceeded the bounds, such that
we know we deserve the punishment.

FA- TUB- ‘ALAY - NAA - TAW-BAAFA- TUB- ‘ALAY - NAA - TAW-BAA
TAGH-SI-LU -KUL- LA –TAGH-SI-LU -KUL- LA – HHAW-BAAAW-BAA
(Therefore O Allah, we beg You to) Accept our repentance,(Therefore O Allah, we beg You to) Accept our repentance,
Such that (Your acceptance of it) washes awaySuch that (Your acceptance of it) washes away
all our faults (and wrong-doings)all our faults (and wrong-doings)

WAS-TUR – LA-NAL - ‘AU-RAA-TIWAS-TUR – LA-NAL - ‘AU-RAA-TI
WA- AA-MI-NIR - RAU- ‘AA - TIWA- AA-MI-NIR - RAU- ‘AA - TI
And cover for us whatever that may bring upon us shame,And cover for us whatever that may bring upon us shame,
And grant us peace (security) from things which causeAnd grant us peace (security) from things which cause
us to be afraid.us to be afraid.

WAGH- FIR - LI-WAA - LI- DEE - NAA,WAGH- FIR - LI-WAA - LI- DEE - NAA,
ROB-BI - WA- MAU - LU-DEE - NAAROB-BI - WA- MAU - LU-DEE - NAA
And forgive the sins of all our parents,And forgive the sins of all our parents,
And all our siblings / children - O Lord!And all our siblings / children - O Lord!

WAL- AH-LI –WAL - IWAL- AH-LI –WAL - IKHKH - WAA-NI,- WAA-NI,
WA-SAA- IRIL-WA-SAA- IRIL- KHKHI - LAA-NII - LAA-NI
And all the family members and all our brothers/sisters,And all the family members and all our brothers/sisters,
And all our loyal acquaintances .And all our loyal acquaintances .

WA – KUL - LI – DzEE - MA-WA – KUL - LI – DzEE - MA- HHAB - BAAB - BA
AU- JEE –RO-TIN - AU- SwUAU- JEE –RO-TIN - AU- SwUHH - BA- BA
And everyone who possesses love towards us,And everyone who possesses love towards us,
And all of our neighbours and companions.And all of our neighbours and companions.

WAL- MUS – LI – MEE -NA - AJ -MA’WAL- MUS – LI – MEE -NA - AJ -MA’
AA- MEE - NA - ROB- BI - FAS - MA’AA- MEE - NA - ROB- BI - FAS - MA’
And the Muslims, everyone of them ,And the Muslims, everyone of them ,
Make it so O Lord! Do hear (this, our plea).Make it so O Lord! Do hear (this, our plea).

And salutations of Allah and Peace be upon our
Leader Muhammad, and upon His household
and Companions .
