 Among the oft-repeated misconception used in spreading hatred towards
Islam (today it is called ‘Islamophobia’), which actually started since the
Crusades is the allegation that Islam is a “violent religion” and it was
spread the outcome of “forced conversion.”
 That Islam does teach Muslims to “fight” against aggressor and defending
the oppressed – the teaching of “Jihad bil-al-Sayf” (strive with the sword)
– is a fact.
 What or how they twist and distort the facts with their narratives,
obviously biased and dishonestly selective, have been relentless mostly
spurred by enmity towards Islam.

 Muslims must be educated (to re-new their worldview) to know how to
dispel and refute the fallacious arguments regarding this. Unfortunately
some may have already become ‘apologetically affected’ and ashamed
that they tend even agree to the liberal movement for Muslims to amend
or purge these verses from the Qur’an and Ahadith, which these anti-
Islam (Islamaphobic) interlocutors are asserting.
 Muslims must be very careful in sorting this issue purposely ‘dirtied by
fallacious misinterpretations’ so as not to be led to succumb to a greater
or compound error as in the adage : “Throwing the baby with the (murky)
bath water.” MAY ALLAH GRANT US WITH

The Messenger of AllahThe Messenger of Allah said: “The people will soon summonsaid: “The people will soon summon
one another to attack you as people like in a banquet invitingone another to attack you as people like in a banquet inviting
others to share their dish. “ Someone asked: “Will that beothers to share their dish. “ Someone asked: “Will that be

Allah is competent to give them victory.”

“(KUTIBA – ‘ALAYKUMUL- QITAL) Fighting has been
enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps
you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you
love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while
you know not.”
(Qur’an: Baqarah: 2: 216)

'The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah
than the weak believer, although both are good.
Strive for that which will benefit you, seek the help of
Allah, and do not feel helpless.
If anything befalls you, do not say, "if only I had done
such and such" rather say :
"QAD-DARALLAAHU WA-MAA - SHA-A – FA-’ALA
(Allah has decreed and whatever he wills, He does)."
For (saying) 'If' opens (the door) to the deeds of Satan.'“

“[They are] those who have been evicted from their
homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord
is Allah." And were it not that Allah checks the people,
some by means of others, there would have been
demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and
mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned.
And Allah will surely support those who support Him.
Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.”

“And prepare against them whatever you are
able of power and of steeds of war by which you
may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy
and others besides them whom you do not know
[but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you
spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to
you, and you will not be wronged.”

"Indeed, Allah will surely admit three into Paradise by a
single arrow. Its maker who seeks good by his making it, the
one who shoots it, and the one who holds arrows for him."
And he said: "Practice archery and practice riding, and the
one practicing archery is more beloved to me than that of
riding. All idle pastimes that the Muslim man engages in are
falsehood, except for his shooting of his bow, his training of
his horse, and his frolicking (playing) with his wife, for they
are from truth.“

oppressive people and appoint for us from
Yourself a protector and appoint for us from
Yourself a helper?“

“You will surely find the most intense of the people in
animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those
who associate others with Allah; and you will find the
nearest of them in affection to the believers those who
say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are
priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.”

but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like
transgressors (MU’-TADEEN).”

Abu Hurairah r.a. said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever
parts from obedience, and splits away from the Jama'ah and
dies, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah. Whoever rebels
against my Ummah, killing good and evil people alike, and does
not try to avoid killing the believers, and does not pay attention
to those who are under a covenant, then he is not of me.
Whoever fights for a cause that is not clear, advocating
tribalism, getting angry for the sake of tribalism, and he is
killed, then he has died a death of Jahiliyyah.'“

“And kill them * wherever you overtake them and
expel them from wherever they have expelled you,
and FITNAH (oppression) is worse than killing. And
do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they
fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them.
Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.”
(Qur’an: Baqarah: 2: 191)

“And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Fight them until there is no [more] FITNAH (oppression) and
[until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they
cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the
oppressors.”

just statement (KALIMAT –’ADLIN) before a tyrannical ruler.“

"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The Hour will not be
established until you fight your A'immah (i.e. IMAMS –leaders), and
you strike each other with your swords, and your world will be
inherited by the evilest among you.“

Abu Dzarr r.a. said: "The Messenger of Allah said:
'There will be people among my Ummah (nation)
after me who will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go
any deeper than their throats. They will pass through
Islam like an arrow passing through its target, then
they will never return to it. They are the most evil of
mankind and of all creation.'

years, foolish in minds, reciting the Qur'an which will
not go beyond their throats, uttering sayings from
the best of creatures, going through the religion as
an arrow goes through the target.“

"Three (armies) will fight one another for your treasure,
each one of them the son of a caliph, but none of them will
gain it. Then the black banners will come from the east, and
they will kill you in an unprecedented manner."
Then he mentioned something that I do not remember,
then he said: "When you see them, then pledge your
allegiance to them even if you have to crawl over the snow,
for that is the caliph of Allah, Mahdi."

“They would soon seek protection in this House, viz. Ka'ba (the
defenceless), people who would have nothing to protect themselves
in the shape of weapons or the strength of the people. An army
would be sent to fight (and kill) them and when they would enter a
plain ground the army would be sunk in it.”
