Never having a clear answer to, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" as a kid and watching the adults in my life dutifully head off to jobs that never seemed to get them too excited may have been what initially sparked my interest in Professional Development. I recognized early on that "work" was a big part of our personal identity and how we spend a large portion of our time.
