Financial Planning Standards Council is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to instilling confidence in the financial planning profession. FPSC establishes and enforces professional standards in financial planning through CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and FPSC Level 1 certification. These certifications provide assurance to Canadians that the design of their financial future rests with an appropriately qualified professional who will put their clients’ interests ahead of their own. There are approximately 17,000 CFP professionals across Canada, part of an international network of almost 160,000 individuals who have earned CFP certification in 26 territories around the world.
