I live with my wonderful husband, Aaron, my son, Kai (born 8/09, adopted 10/09), and my hanai'd son Pla Shee (10 yrs old) on a small organic farm south of Dallas and work at the School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. We recently started a nonprofit organization, One World Outreach, to provide assistance to recently resettled refugees in the DFW metroplex.
